  1. While I am not pleased with that half inning, I did enjoy the graphics, Brian. Nice work!
  2. JJ swinging it well tonight...perhaps too well on that last one. Too bad: Hit it on the screws and all it amounts to is an easy out. Good to see him hitting hit hard at least.
  3. I guess sometimes it pays to be lucky: K = Run scored. Nice!
  4. I think they were sending Hall to get two men in scoring position.
  5. Well, now THAT was a painful end to a painful game...
  6. Let's see...what are the chances of this team fielding a ground ball and converting a double play given the way they are fielding tonight?
  7. I don't know if anyone has been watching the FSN feed for Wisconsin, but Jeff Cirillo did a few innings in the booth with Bill and Daron. I thought JC did a nice job, lots of good insights stated in an engaging way. I think the guy might have a future in broadcasting if he wants to go that way once his playing days are over.
  8. I typically join the game day threads further upstream, so I haven't previously seen the link to the StatPack before. It is quite cool, to say the least. Is that a feature provided to ESPN subscribers or is it there for everyone? In any case, I appreciate the link.
  9. Sucks to be Cirillo -- made the last out in two consecutive losses. At least he hit the ball tonight and was only marginally squeezed (on the first strike).
  10. I thought that the RF was going to throw Davis out. That guy was almost playing second base. In any case, glad to see Doug have a good AB and get rewarded with a clean hit.
  11. Wow -- what a shot! It was hit so hard it knocked Hall over! http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/laugh.gif
  12. I think they need a catcher or another upgrade at the plate more than another starter.
  13. What was Ozzie talking about? That has to be at least the third time this season Lee has gone HARD into second to break up the DP. Unless Lee is just overcompensating for the criticism...?
  14. Let me see if I've got this straight -- they score two runs in the past two games, and then get loose for four in one inning v. one of the best pitchers in the game? Go figure...
  15. What's with all this hitting? Sheesh!
  16. Nice slide, Lyle! When he slid I think the piano rolled off his back.
  17. I was surprised that grounder by Green got through. It didn't seem all that sharply hit.
  18. It may not be the worst thing in the world, but it sure didn't make Ned too happy. He's showing the quick hook tonight. Probably appropriate.
  19. I don't know if Yost has much choice at this point. With a Saturday night/Sunday afternoon schedule, the backup is going to catch one of those. Likewise, with Miller coming down with a sore back and sore shoulder during the first two months, Moeller was their only option behind the plate. I know some people think that even on those days in which Moeller starts he should be pinch hit for in critical situations. That makes good sense. Of course, that sort of defeats the purpose of giving Miller a day off to rest his sore 35 year old parts. Besides, as someone noted, it's not like their record has been dramatically different with Moeller catching than with Miller.
  20. Can they do that with Moeller? Isn't he out of options? Is he at point in his career when he has to approve being sent down?
  21. All they need now is just three more solo jacks to tie!
  22. Looked like that HBP might have stung a little. I wonder what he said to Moeller when he turned around...
  23. Moeller's only started 17 games? Seems like a lot more...
  24. He gave up two doubles and uncorked a wild pitch? How is that anyone else's fault?
