Two things stuck out to me. One, what may have cost us the game is not being able on two occasions to throw strikes to Mike Tauchman, once due to the umpire deciding not to call the edges in the bottom of the 1st. Two, Frelick came to the plate a couple times in the game w/runners on, a situation I love seeing him in. Both times, for whatever reason, he was saddled with the "Welcome to the big leagues, rookie" strike zone & was taken way out of his comfort zone. that's tough when you've never faced Hendricks before.
After the HBP to tie the game, I also would've liked to see Turang in a little more of a "pressure's on you, pitcher" mode instead of taking a ball, then swinging.
