  1. Maybe sign him to a multi-year contract.? Sort of like sign low, Brewers could make a good deal.(blue)
  2. I said, last year was the fluke not 2 years. What do your eyes tell you about the previous 2 weeks, with the entire team in a hitting slump. We’ll see by September…or sooner.
  3. No, since 2018-2024. Including last year’s fluke season. The only thing the same is the uniforms for the most part. Maybe you can give them the benefit of the doubt, but it would be a miracle for them to compete for the division’s title this season with the players they have.
  4. Different team, different players, different coach and mostly different GM.
  5. I’m beginning to think that MLB has passed by cities like Milwaukee, Tampa Bay, Cleveland, Kansas City, Oakland (definitely), and Pittsburgh. The only thing that can save these small market team is finding a multi-billion $ owner, and I really mean multi (Uihlein, Cohen, Rogers III, Malone) that isn’t concerned about losing hundreds of millions of $. Sure there will teams lucky enough winning a WS or 2, but these chances more and more rare.
  6. It is much more that Yelich, Ortiz was a better than average 3B by May last season, and he is a total black hole this year and has replaced Adames at short that was boarderline all-star. Contreras was an all- star last year and currently has < 0.700 OPS. Blake Perkins was an average hitter last year and a gold glove in CF. my goodnes , they have 4 AAA players currently on their roster in Durban, Collins, Montasterio & Cameron and that doesn’t include any pitchers. This has been a total failure on the owner, GM and coach this season not bringing in any position players.
  7. There are at least 6 batters have no reason to be on this team. The only problem is one is Yelich. So now he says he has a healthy back. What’s his problem now?
  8. This team has a major run (even getting any hits has become a struggle) scoring problem. Until this gets fixed this will be a lost season. And I really don’t this will be fixable until the off-season.
  9. ESPN is reporting that Jose Quintana has been placed on the 15 day injured list due to a shoulder inpingement. In a corresponding move Tobias Myers has been recalled from Nashville. Another pitcher bites the dust. I haven’t seen any reports on how significant his injury is or how long he will be out. More information will be forthcoming.
  10. OK Murphy. Time to bat Contreras 3rd, Hoskins 4th, Bauers 5th, and move Yelich down to 7th.
  11. Brilliant call…..runner in scoring position and Yelich gets thrown out at third. Whoever called that steal attempt should get fired immediately.
  12. For Ch&$*& sakes Yelich swing at strikes, not at ankle high pitches. He must have taken up Chourio’s bad habits!
  13. This post best describes the nature of Rose. It describes the true motivation of narcissists everywhere and perfectly explains this mental illness. A post of our current times.
  14. Still think trading Yelich for McMahon is a bad move? I sure hope you enjoy paying Yelich his $77M the next 3 years!
  15. Yelich, a lottery ticket and $ (?) should get you Ryan McMahon with a similar 90 OPS+. However, I don’t think the Rockies need an aged DH ground ball machine.
  16. Mark is the number 1 problem in the quality with player acquisition. Arnold is a distant number 2.
  17. Almost as good as winning a World Series. Maybe Mark can fly a banner for his team’s accomplishment.
  18. Now that Freddy has turned the corner and has become a #1 SP, I can almost bet Attanasio/Arnold will start calling other teams to see what players they can trade for him . It would be almost humorous if the front office wasn’t so predictable. Mark is the only owner that could squeeze blood from a turnip. After the Yelich signing he learned his lesson and will only sign any Brewer stars to a “team friendly deal.” That is life as one of the MLB bottom feeders.
  19. Agreed, I was including carries and passes to RBs. however only 5-15 plays to the list of receivers mentioned doesn’t seem like a whole lot if you include incomplete passes as well.
  20. GB offense ran an average of 62 plays per game in 2024. Your estimate of the number of plays going to Lloyd, Wilson and Jacobs = 47-57 plays per game. Remaining number of plays going to the rest of the offensive playmakers (7 to 8 of Reed, Doubs, Wicks, Golden, Williams, Kraft, Musgrave, Sims, Heath and Melton PLUS Love) = 5-15 plays per game. OK
