  1. Milwaukee has too small of a population and is too close to Chicago to support a NHL franchise
  2. CHS Field is much better than the old Midway Stadium next to the Fairgrounds but I agree with you 100% it is a great park. However, since the Saints changed from an independent league team to the Twins AAA affiliate, it seems less enjoyable. Remember Veeck’s and Bill Murray’s motto, “Fun is Good.”
  3. I’m sticking with my original prediction, sorry.
  4. Last week a reporter asked Douglas if he would be interested in returning to the Packers. His response was, “ No, they have Melton at corner.” Seems like there no chance of him coming back.
  5. I agree with Sveumrules anywhere between 53rd and 48th street between Wisconsin and Bluemound, if you don’t mind the short hike. It’s been a couple of decades since I walked that route to County Stadium but it worked well, not sure if parking restrictions have changed since the 80’s though. I had a girlfriend that lived on 50th and Wisconsin and always parked in her driveway, but after we broke up that was always a go to neighborhood behind her house. Brings back a lot of memories. Have a great time buddy. Go Brew Crew.
  6. Garrett Mitchell has injured his left shoulder once AGAIN. Poor guy can’t catch a break. Too brittle.
  7. You just beat me to this comment. Uribe should definitely be the closer. Megill is much better in the setup role compared to closing.
  8. Who really cares that Civale is upset. You go with the best 5 (or 6) and if he’s not one of them to bad. The Brewers don’t owe Civale anything.
  9. Maybe they should give them the SB title in 2021 because they WERE the best team that season and had to play without their top 2 OL and would have won if they could have played. Your whole argument sounds like sour grapes to me.
  10. No way to know for sure. Let’s apply a little patience and see where the next 6 years brings us.
  11. Chourio might need to make an appointment with an optometrist. I seriously believe he may need a pair of glasses.
  12. I sure hope you’re right.
  13. The 2024 season schedule was still weaker than 2025. In 2024 they played against the NFC West and AFC South teams and in 2025 they will play the NFC East and AFC North division teams. The 2025 schedule seems that it will be much more challenging than 2024.
  14. Almost all of that accumulated in the last 15 games. Before that most posters were looking to replace him with Wilkins or Cooper Pratt.
  15. I equate this move to the Brewers not acquiring a 3rd baseman last off-season. Gutey knew that an outside CB was a great position of need and has not dealt with it adequately. Maybe the Packers can cover up this deficiency with a stronger pass rush (Van Ness, Cox Jr., Gary, Enagbare, Brooks, Wooden, Wyatt and Clark to name a few)but this doesn’t look any better than last season. It appears we will be looking forward to many high scoring games this season. I hope the offense will be up to the challenge.
