  1. Seems like the Cubs trade for Tucker far exceeds the Brewers trade today. Watch out.
  2. I would beg to differ, and I really hate the Queens. They have a top 5 defense coached by one of the best DCs in the NFL in Brian Flores. The Jefferson, Hockinson and Addison (really coming into his own the past few games) as starting receivers are elite. And we all know what Aaron Jones can do at RB. O’Connell’s coaching and play calling has been superior to MLF this season. What O’Connell has done with Darnold as QB boarders as a miracle. The Packer roster may be deeper but I hate to say it the Vikings starters are much better and with a 2 game lead on the Packers with 4 games to go the Vikings are in a much better position. I think most posters underestimate the Queens this year based on the hate in their heart rather than objectively using their heads.
  3. Until the defensive coaching staff can cover up the holes that have existed in the middle of their defense this team will be underdogs beyond the first round of the playoffs. In Detroit’s last 4 drives of the second half Goff was 18-20. He completed 9 of 10 passes in the middle of the field on these drives and on the second (turned over on downs) and third drives (TD) he was 5-6 on consecutive passes to the middle of the field. This has been a problem through the entire coaching tenure of MLF in GB.
  4. Exactly, the Packers are on their way up and are near the top of the heap of NFL teams, however, the Lions, followed by the Eagles, Bills and Chiefs are superior to the next cluster of teams. The Packers are in a group of teams along with the Vikings, Steelers, Ravens, Commanders, Texans and maybe the Chargers. That is not to say that upset occur fairly regularly in the NFL and “on any given Sunday”. The games are so close that the odds of the Packers beating the top group are probably 40-45%. Most game are within 7-10 points. Turnovers, penalties, coaching, injuries and quarterbacks are the most factors that play the difference in determining the winner in any individual game.
  5. Seriously? The Lions were playing without half of their defense and were playing with at least 6 street free agents. You need to take off your green colored glasses. It’s the Lions and maybe the Eagles above everyone else in the NFC. If te Lions didn’t give them a free 7 points it wouldn’t have been that close.
  6. Someone on the Packers coaching staff has to be fired. How can they seriously never switch their defensive scheme and cover the middle of the field. I hold MLF responsible as the head coach when something so obvious that achange is required and nothing is done is just inexplicable. As Vince would say “What the hell is going on around here”.
  7. For &$#@ sakes this defense sucks.
  8. Maybe they cover the middle….ahhh no.
  9. Middle, middle, middle, middle,…..
  10. Why can’t they cover the middle. Thi has been going on for years.
  11. if there is ever a question on what play to call against the Packet D, just run a pass to the middle of their defense.
  12. What was that. Engebare just bumped him and the ref went down like a sack of potatoes. Talk about a drama queen. Does he think he hasn’t been on camera enough?
  13. I think it’s time for Al to retire or at least go back to calling Olympic hockey games.
  14. Maybe them hitting on their 1st round drafts the past 10 years. It also helps with 2 picks at the top of the draft and 5 picks in the top 10. That might have something to do with it.
  15. For being considered a smaller market team, the Twins must be printing money in Minneapolis.
  16. Youth most likely. I really didn’t intend to mean never occurs (almost). You would think 🤔 if Julio is still considered a top of the rotation starter there would be multiple teams knocking each other over to sign him to a multi year contract regardless of his criminal history.
  17. I’d be surprised if Woody would return to be anything like the pitcher he was before his injury. As this article and the long history of shoulder injuries have proven a return to form almost never happens. Counting on him being anything more than a part time bottom of the rotation starter shouldn’t be anticipated. Expecting him to regain top of the rotation type ability as this author suggests, would be a fools errand which I hope Matt Arnold isn’t counting on.
  18. Just like the NFL planned. The fix is in. Do you think all these 4th quarter comebacks are inadvertent?
  19. Just like the NFL planned. The fix is in, Det. Or the Vikes in the SB.
  20. So many penalties against Jenkins this year. Very disappointing.
  21. That 4th down FG was so unlike MLF…lol
