    Despite all evidence Murphy does not/will not move Turang from the top of the lineup. It isn’t bad enough that the players are in a major slump. Now we have a lame duck manager.

    Your link reports his Brewer stats (MLB) from earlier this year. I quoted my stats from the brewerfanatic encyclopedia Sveumrules (Joey Wiemer’s new swing; topic, We’d., July 24, page 3). “Interesting, I thought maybe someone bumped the thread because he’s hit 413/526/630 (204 wRC+) with 10 BB | 8 K over 57 PAs since July 2nd.”

    You just might want it give Joey a little more time to mature, especially since he has overhauled his entire swing this season. He has only played 99 games in AAA with 421 PA. He is a far superior fielder than Hicklen and Frelick for that matter. It will be interesting to see who will be a better MLB outfielder in 2026 between these 3 players. I think a little more patience is needed with Wiemer especially with his slugging potential.

    I get on my knees and thank the powers that be you are nowhere near the Brewer GM position. Arnold isn’t that stupid! In July Wiemer has hit 413/526/630 (204 wRC+) with 10 BB | 8 Ks in 57 PAs. You probably would have DFAed Chourio in June.

    Hmmmmmm! I’m sure you believe that, but I wouldn’t even throw in a Chris Roller or a Pat Dorian in the trade.

    Way too much in return. One 25-40 ranked prospect and maybe a PTBN later. Adding Wiemer would be a large overpay.

    Why not? It’s essentially the same lineup for the past 4 weeks. I believe he has the lineup already prepared for the next 4 weeks. He’s just lazy, and really never pays attention.
