Does Pat Murphy have any clue how to build a lineup? Playing Yelich in LF and putting Chourio at DH? After over 25 years in baseball you would think he could see if one player might be a better defensive player than another.

This is just the nature of the MLB. Without some kind of salary cap or some other creative way to level out rosters to make them more equivalent this is just what you are going to get. Granted you will occasionally get a 2015 Royals championship, but these types of winners are becoming rarer and rarer recently.
