  1. Uribe is a guy who will help us win for a long time.
  2. Great debut by Uribe. Hand that run to the ump.
  3. Meant closing games out in the 7th, 8th, and 9th innings. Obviously Devin is and will remain the 9th inning guy.
  4. That wasn't a balk either. Hand this one to the umps.
  5. Tumpane should be fined. Never any accountability for these guys.
  6. Ump may have ruined our final chance of winning this game.
  7. Farmer with the assist from the ump there.
  8. Dominant. This guy will solve one of the last two bullpen spots that has been killing us. No more Tyson Miller or Matt Bush. Wouldn't be shocked if it's Williams, Payamps, and Uribe closing games for us in the 2nd half.
  9. He's also more than 2 years older than Chourio, if we're doing comparisons.
  10. Inexcusable. Someone's gotta be shouting at Peguero there the moment De la Cruz starts shifting towards home.
  11. Lineup doing a good job of making the Reds cycle through some relievers.
  12. Bottom line IF we lose is that Rea didn’t come through today. A tough offense for sure, but we needed better with as many runs as we have on the board. He’s pretty much what he is. His rotation spot should be in question imo.
  13. Votto couldn't dream of getting to that ball either at this stage of his career.
  14. This. His defense is good for a 1B, but his offense is not. If Rowdy is not going to hit, we need to look outside of the organization.
  15. I'll take the objective data. And then anecdotally, there was a hard-hit ball he got to last night that Rowdy never could've dreamed of getting to. Range is that of a 2nd/3rd baseman which is just as important, if not moreso, than diving for throws that are off-line.
  16. It was a bad throw. Miller might have been able to stop it from going into the dugout, but Willy should have made the easy throw to get the out. But Miller's defense at 1B is not really the problem that people are making it out to be. He's played that position more than any other in his MLB career and grades out as a solid first baseman.
  17. This is ridiculous. You--my friend--are incredibly rude, and can't seem to handle when people factually contradict your opinion. I remember early in the year when you were blowing up game threads with your incessant railing against Yelich and you couldn't take other people providing stats that indicated he was better than he had been playing. See how that looks now...And then there was your childish rant against Brock re. the articles, when he attempted to broker a middle ground and you for some bizarre reason stomped your feet until you got your way. I'm providing stats that are relevant to the in-game discussion. If you have stats to provide, please do. But don't take it to personal levels.
  18. Not true. Among 1B with 100+ innings, Miller is in the top 5 statistically.
  19. Yeah. I don't know if I would do it. But a guaranteed star as opposed to a potential star is worth a lot. Robert's injuries give you pause, though.
  20. Your takes are consistently bizarre and wrong. Particularly on here and the NL Central thread.
  21. Again, I would be tempted to replace Rea with Gasser in the rotation.
  22. Owen Miller has been the Brewers' best defensive 1B this year statistically.
