    Not sure. Just decided to do this one in light of reading trade proposals from other posters. This is the version that I feel gives us the best team for both the present and the future. You already stated that you wouldn’t give up those players for Jansen in my last one. I responded that you have to give up value to get value, especially considering Jansen led all MLB catchers in WRC+ last season . With as many outfielders as we have in AAA and on the major league roster, Wiemer becomes expendable due to his heavy swing and miss tendencies. That’s something we need to move away from.

    Mixed day for Stearns. Tonight's outcome once again shines a light on the Hader deal and its failure re. this season. However, the bottom-two wild cards advancing does seem to vindicate his "bites of the apple" philosophy. The MLB playoffs is, indeed, a crapshoot. And one of these days, the Brewers will be the team that gets hot and goes all the way. Here's hoping it's next season....

    ANOTHER great game transpiring in San Diego. One of the best days for postseason baseball in MLB history. Too bad the Braves couldn't make a game out of it.

    Joel Stave...There ya go. Graham Mertz had no time to throw today. He made a bad throw on the first interception, but otherwise was hampered by horrendous OL play. As I have said, this team's issues go so much deeper than Graham Mertz. For goodness sake's, the guy is 2nd in FBS in "big-time throws" per PFF. He's no Stroud, but he's not Petras, Hilinski, Bazelak etc.

    Very true. Mariners are the only MLB fanbase I can think of that can literally claim a more painful team history than us. They haven't even been to a World Series.
