  1. Sorry. Please feel free to delete my comments.
  2. Renfroe hot streaks are the best. Now, please hold the lead Small through at least 4 innings.
  3. They don't. But, I remember that one because you were so convinced that Berrios would have success against the Brewers, and when I pointed out how bad he had been on the year, you pretty strongly rebutted me. Now, you try to adopt the reverse in response to me. I find it funny is all. But that's the last I'm going to say on the subject cause no one else cares.
  4. Lol. Remember you saying the exact opposite before that very game...But, yes, Berrios has been bad this year.
  5. SS and 3B are not “holes”.The Brewers are getting top 10 MLB production from those two spots. The only so-called “black hole” there has been on this team this season was CF with Cain and Davis. Taylor has helped somewhat though we could definitely use an upgrade there. The main problem is we’re long on average to slightly above average hitters, while lacking great/elite hitters. Bell would definitely help with that based on his production this season.

  7. If anyone's in the mood for a little comedy, just take a look at the Cardinals lineup tonight sans Goldschmidt and Arenado. Of course, they'll probably summon some devil magic and win a hitters' fest against the Jays....
  8. Any word on Buxton @Brock Beauchamp? Last I heard he received a PRP injection in his knee...Also, if I'm not mistaken, Sano will be making his first appearance since April...
  9. I would just make Bell the everyday 1B regardless as he grades out as a better defender than Tellez. Then, Tellez at DH against RHP and McCutchen at DH against LHP, with McCutchen also seeing a little time in the OF.
  10. Bell is a great fit. We desperately need a middle of the order bat who can make contact and drive in runs with runners on base. Bell is precisely that guy. We're not in a position where we can turn down guys like him. My guess is he would be the primary 1B and McCutchen/Tellez would share DH duties. Keep in mind that McCutchen can also get time in the outfield and Tellez shouldn't be playing against LHP.
  11. Bell is the power hitter we need to slot in the middle of the lineup. Also, hits for high average, plays a decent 1B, doesn't strike out, AND hits LHP. I'd be all in if I were Stearns so long as such a deal doesn't involve Chourio, Frelick, Wiemer, etc. which it certainly shouldn't.

  13. Yeah. If we can get Reynolds without giving up Chourio, I'd be all for it. Even if that means parting with Frelick and Wiemer. They're just prospects, after all, whereas Reynolds has proven all-star production.
  14. It was pretty much the best you could do on that pitch down 0-2 in the count. But that's baseball.
  15. Robots can't drive in runs, but they can prevent the complexion of the at-bat from being changed by a bad strike one call. Still, Urias did a good job going the other way down 0-2. Just didn't happen.
  16. And that's baseball.....Nice poke by Urias. Just didn't hit it far enough from the fielder. Oh well, I'll take 3/4 any time.
  17. Crap. Just missed it. I would pinch run Davis for Adames now.
  18. I don't think they feel comfortable with him there after his short stint in the minors. Otherwise, we would've seen it already.
