I agree. We have a much improved farm system from the last couple of years, now is the time to use it. Although, I believe they will look to extend at least one of those three guys, probably Burnes. Woodruff can be traded in the offseason for some offense as he is slightly older than the others.
-
If we're not going to trade him, I might consider bringing up Turang at some point in the not too distant future....
-
Don't wanna rain on the offense bashing parade, but Adrian Houser is a pretty good "worst" starting pitcher....
-
Just realized the Carlos Gomez connection of today's starting pitching matchup.
-
Geez. No luck so far this series.
-
Knebel owes us. 2 runs should cover it.
-
As for a "good" problem, looks like they'll have no choice but to bring up Ethan Small soon....
-
Hopefully Counsell keeps him in there for Harper and Schwarber. Last thing I wanna see is Devin in a one run game.
-
Yelich can't catch a break....
-
Slingin' Stearns strikes again with Caratini...
-
Seriously, though, great recovery by Peralta. Now he gets the Pirates to hopefully build on this start and kick it into high gear for the rest of the season.
-
Send him to the minors!
-
Fortunately, no. Stomach illness.
-
So Castellanos is a good at defense now?
-
And of course the ump tightens the zone when the brewers are pitching.
-
No one was covering third on the throwout of yelich .
-
Probably the best play Castellanos has ever made with the glove right there.
-
My apologies. I got a little too caught up in the argument.
-
Good job freddy. If he can start locating that slider more consistently, I think we'll have the guy we saw last year.
-
That's the slider, Freddy.
-
Okay. Apparently, quoting your exact words doesn't constitute reading what you said. Enjoy whatever world you're living in.
-
ARE YOU KIDDING ME WITH THIS UMP. Giving him off the plate inside AND outside?!
-
Okay this ump is bad. We might as well just give up right now if Suarez is going to get that pitch the whole game.
-
He's struggling with his slider location early on. That's the key pitch for him. Keeps hitters off his fastball.
-
All right Freddy. Now keep working with that slider and settle in after the first like you usually do.
