I don't know if I would say it just grazed the edge. The first pitch in that at-bat grazed the edge (and was also called a ball). That last pitch was pretty blatant. Soler being rung up on that pitch in the 5th only makes my point. That entire part of the zone was wide open all game, until it randomly wasn't in a crucial spot. In the end it's a loss that means very little, but frustrating.

It was called wrong on Chisholm for example, no doubt. But that pitch had been consistently getting called in the lead-up to that at-bat. Case in point, Uribe's last K. It was a strike that all of a sudden wasn't a strike in a crucial moment.

There is no leadoff runner if it gets called like it should have. Run doesn't score. You're just being contrarian. It clearly affected the outcome of the game.
