Honestly, is anyone really worried about needing to spend to pay Wiemer? He's not Fielder or Braun. Wiemer's service time is a complete non-story.

Wiemer is closer to being a guy you DFA than being one you worry about paying five years from now.

We had this debate three months ago and he's got a wRC+ of 84 now. I love his defense but he's not MLB level at the plate.

Because he's not that kind of player. If he's good the Brewers will extend him long before service time becomes an issue. But he's closer to being out of the league than he is ever reaching three years of arbitration.

Wiemer isn't a guy you worry about manipulating service time with.

Perkins has been one of the best defensive OFs in baseball this season. You can't send him down.

On one hand I see his stuff and think the sky is the limit. On the other I see his delivery and don't really see command. Skenes looks like Prior on the mound compared to Miso. -
