  1. I predict we lose this game. If you are a Royals fan referring to your own team, then you are right. (Famous last words on my part, but I stick by them)
  2. I can't believe the Royals even have a message board? I believe this statement has probably been said about the Brewers in past years.
  3. Any idea what Helling's maximum pitch count is?
  4. I'll be there, and for the first time in a long time I am riding a personal 2 game winning streak.
  5. The Phillies, Colorado, and SF are only a half game behind us, so those standings can be a touch deceiving. 8 teams (It would be 9, but someone has to win the West) for 1 spot. Also, am I the only one who thinks that Philly may be a sleeping giant? Their pitching may be a little suspect, but what a lineup.
  6. Just got back. I was there on Mother's Day as well. The Brewers should start inventing family member holidays. How about Great Aunt Day?
  7. Sorry I can't be in attendence today, but to make up for it I was there yesterday and will be there tomorrow.
  8. My gut tells me that Sabathia is going to absolutely own us, going eight shuntout innings or something like that, and we lose 5-0. You only feel that way because guts side with each other. C.C. has the gut, Cappy doesn't.
  9. Koskie hitting third with Jenks down to seventh. I'll bite. It seems to be some inside joke on the Reds board that everyone refers to themselves in the 3rd person.
  10. 666, a tornado warning, and the Brewers winning after 1. It's a little eerie.
  11. I know Hart has a weak arm for an OF, but come on Ned. Pretty please. At this pace we'll see Nelson Cruz in 2013.
  12. I've been to 5 of the last eight games and have lost 6 straight overall: 7-1, 6-2, 14-3, 12-1, 10-5, 8-4.
  13. Last time I checked, these guys are paid to perform and win ball games. And the other team is payed to beat them. I never understood this argument.
  14. Poor Dougie. Him and Bush will be getting drunk tonight, cursing D-Bow's name.
  15. Could it finally be an end to this streak? I agree, leave DD in.
  16. Hart for Fielder. Now there's a move I never heard considered, but it's for one night and I'm just happy to see Hart on the field.
  17. The Brewers seem to be enjoying a wonderful all expense paid vacation to Davey Jones' Locker.
  18. Of course I just realized that my optimistic post was number 911 for me. Another omen has been that Jose castillo and I were born on the exact same day in the exact same year. What does it all mean? In an unrelated matter, it is really hard to type while wearing a straight jacket. Aggghh! Casey just went deep! Agggh! And so did Bay! What have I done?
  19. Okay. I've got my second wind during this slide. I just realized that I've been through worse. 12 seasons worth. It's like drizzle to a typhoon veteran. Through good times and bad. I'm not going anywhere.
  20. Can't blame this one on West Point. Uggh. I cannot remember a worse series through 22 innings.
  21. Sanchez just shocked and awed me. Cappy has to pick our hitters up, for as many have said, "When the pitching goes, the hitting will soon follow."
  22. Tonight is a shoe-in win. My brother (West) Pointer is not in attendence (1-8 record) and for that matter, neither am I (4-7 record). Bet the farm on the Crew.
  23. ALRIGHT! That was for Cappy. When Jenkins hit the flyball, I was thinking that it was better than a sac bunt, because it kept Cirillo at first, meaning that they wouldn't walk Carlos.
  24. Major league debut for opposing pitcher automatically = Brewers LOSS Not Zach Duke, though he did get the ND.
