  1. Misiorowski and Blalock are both shut down right now.
  2. It really does feel that way. He’s made so many of these tweets since our big win streak in August
  3. They did. They just used him in the 8th
  4. Then here is a thread from Jarrett Seidler, a Baseball Prospectus prospect guy, showing how rare it is for PCA's current batted ball profile to work in the MLB.
  5. Yeah his defense is absolutely an 80 grade. Bat has massive question marks though. Here are his percentiles in AA. Doesn't hit the ball hard and doesn't have good plate discipline. Still very young so he can develop, but the likelihood of him being an immediate impact at the plate is pretty low with a profile like that.
  6. Caminero is up again as the tying run in the 9th. Shuckers bullpen is really playing games they shouldn't be playing right now.
  7. Gulp Shuckers have left themselves with Caminero up to the plate as the tying run. Bullpen just too leaky today.
  8. Ashby is being sent to Biloxi this week. I really pray he doesn’t blow Biloxi’s playoff chances. Seems like a very questionable call from management not to just send him to Nashville
  9. I do wonder how much playing time EBJ and Wilken will get. Murray and Zamora haven’t exactly been on fire at the plate lately. I imagine we see something like this. C: Quero/Clarke 1B: Martinez/Clarke/Warren 2B: Zamora/Murray 3B: Wilken/Warren SS: EBJ/Zamora LF: Collins/Rodriguez CF: Chourio RF: Sparks/Rodriguez DH: Clarke/Warren/Collins/Quero
  10. I was generally on the opposite side of this argument previously but at one point yesterday there was literally 6 posted articles on the MLB forum in a span of 24 hours. That’s just totally excessive. Zero need for 6 articles to be posted in 24 hours on a site like this.
  11. Smyly gets the first out of the 9th and they bring Fulmer in. 6 straight balls with a HBP since entering. Rockies have runners on 1st and 2nd with 1 out.
  12. Rockies instead of using their closer bring in a RP with a 6.00 ERA and he blows it. Cubs continue to be incredibly lucky.
  13. They changed the AAA playoff format. The entire Inernational league gets 2 playoff teams. It’s not split into divisions. Norfolk won the IL in the first half and Durham is winning in the second half.
  14. Angels are going to have to eat quite a bit of money to get a sizable return. Entering his age 32 season with 7/$248,150,000 left on his contract. That's a lot of money to pay a guy that has played 237 of a possible 486 games (48.8%) in his age 29-31 seasons.
  15. Wow good for him. 100% deserved as well.
  16. Pretty crazy that Biloxi is going to need to go 15-3 over their final 3 series to make the playoffs. I think it’s going to come down to limiting the damage Caminero does.
  17. Ashby looked really bad again. I pray they don't send him to AA next week.
  18. Hoping the Cubs play well? Yikes.
  19. The Brewers full season affiliates have all been so good in the 2nd half. Nashville - 33-28 (.541) Biloxi - 37-24 (.607) Wisconsin - 35-30 (.538) Carolina - 39-25 (.609) Total - 144-107 (.574) It's a pretty big bummer that we could potentially only see 1 playoff team out of those 4 teams.
  20. Montgomery is about to win again. Biloxi needs to win these next 2 if they want any realistic chance going into next week.
  21. The Biloxi bullpen might be bad again. Bowman coughs up the lead 3 pitches after being put into the game.
  22. I feel like this does a great job of illustrating the current state of the Central division race. Record each team needs to finish with 90 wins. Brewers - 11-10 Cubs - 14-5 Reds - 17-2 If Brewers play a game above .500 ball the rest of the year the Cubs would need to go 14-5 and win the final series against us to win the division.
