  1. Why do you think Uribe is a ways off?
  2. Chourio just turned on a 99 mph Ben Joyce FB and ripped a bases clearing double to the LF corner. Huge insurance runs. Biloxi up 7-3 in the top of the 9th now.
  3. Yeah I would be shocked if he was on the active roster tomorrow. Maybe the IL him instead of DFA but that was very "let his arm fall off because he won't be in the pen tomorrow" energy that inning.
  4. Suter is a low leverage reliever and was replaced by Wilson who has been better than him this year.
  5. Jeison Pena with a big W. Pitched a scoreless 7th and then didn't allow the Manfred runner to score in the 8th despite 2 HBP. Final line 2 IP, 0 H, 0 BB, 5 SO
  6. He's pitching on 5 days rest not normal rest.
  7. He's played in 17 of our 21 games this season lol.
  8. A LHP isn't pitching today so this really makes no sense.
  9. Seriously? Why is this an article? Just absolutely unnecessary for a low leverage RP. Zero reason this article should have been published by this site.
  10. Also should add. Contreras has never caught more than 96 games in a season and that happened in 2019. He's on pace to smash that number this season. Giving him plenty of off-days is the right call.
  11. Grandal was also on a 1-year deal where we didn't care about keeping him healthy long-term. Way different situation with a young catcher who we have 5 more years of control of.
  12. He's on pace to catch like 115 games. Giving him days off is totally fine.
  13. Praying we get Madison!
  14. Luke Adams hit a 2-run HR in the 1st inning for Carolina. Curse Down East for not having a broadcast.
  15. That's assuming the quality of contact is similar for both teams and it is not. Cardinals xBA is .267 (best in MLB) compared to our .243 (17th in MLB) and their xSLG is .446 (5th in MLB) compared to our .390 (22nd in MLB). Their .347 xwOBA is 4th in the MLB compared to our .318 which is 18th.
  16. His body language right now reminds me of Zavier Warren last season. I went to a Rattlers game Chourio's first week up last year and Warren had a brutal game and was in the midst of a brutal season. His body language was awful. Looked like a guy who was ready to quit. Shortly after that game he got on absolute fire and ended the year in AA and he's off to a respectable start in AA this season. Just need Brown to have a good day. Drive the ball a couple of times. Get the confidence going and I think he goes on a tear.
  17. Starting to get a bit worried about Brown Jr. He made some big changes to his stance/swing and struggling this significantly can't be great for the confidence.
  18. Rough 2nd inning for Bachman. Walk, HBP, HBP, Walk, Grand Slam, Walk, Walk. Pulled from the game. 26 pitches in the inning. 21 balls. Still zero outs and runners on 1st and 2nd for the next pitcher.
  19. ETHAN MURRAY GRAND SLAM TO LF! 5-3 Shuckers in the 2nd now. Still no outs in the innings.
  20. 1st inning over. 3 H (with two being super lucky), 3 R, 2 BB, 3 SO. Zamora was given an error so only 2 hits and 1 ER. 36 pitches though so we not sure if he will come back out for more innings.
  21. Walks are killers but Rodriguez has also just been super unlucky this inning. An infield single and a bloop automatic double that was fair by about 6 inches.
  22. Is Vegas a bigger market? Sportsmedia watch has Vegas as basically the same size market as Milwaukee.
  23. Freddy had Casas (54 wRC+ on the year) at an 0-2 count after the Hernandez walk. He ended up walking Casas. That's on him. Maybe we don't win this game either way but Freddy walking a terrible hitter after going up 0-2 is in my opinion the biggest reason we lost this game.
  24. It's honestly a bit weird seeing a 35 year old reliever with nearly 800 innings pitched in his career throwing his cutter harder than he has ever thrown it in his career.
  25. Jesus. A pitcher missed his spot so you want the Brewers to throw at a Red Sox hitters head...1980's were 4 decades ago.
