  1. San Diego is close enough to LA that Lauer will think he's pitching against the Dodgers...right?
  2. Frelick has had a rough start. He had one of the best average EV in the system last year and he currently has an average EV around 83 which is really poor. Not very good contact from him. Conversely, Perkins has had an amazing start and is pounding the crap out of the ball. His average EV before yesterday was 91 and all 3 of his balls in play yesterday had EV over 100.
  3. Likely just talking about his time as a Brewer in general. That's now 7 HR in 27.2 IP good for 2.3 HR/9
  4. Machado hit a HR off him and a 109 mph groundout. This isn't little league. The goal is to win not get individual achievements.
  5. That's super unfortunate. Would have been a very routine double play if that didn't hit Strzelecki.
  6. He's looking absolutely filthy. Seemingly hitting his spots every single time.
  7. Yeah that was a perfect pitch right on the corner. AA ump clearly had issues tracking 101 mph
  8. Uribe walks the 1st hitter but was completely squeezed on what should have been a 4 pitch strikeout.
  9. Zamora rips a liner into LF. The LF makes a diving play but can’t make the catch. Campbell motors from 1st and scores to take the lead. Zamora steals 3rd on the next pitch and advances to home on a throwing error by the catcher. 6-4 Shuckers!
  10. Hendry Mendez had an awkward slide into 2B on a SB attempt and seems to be down and in a lot of pain. He was removed from the game. Doesn’t look good for him.
  11. Luke Adams just hit a towering bomb to LF. 402ft over the scoreboard.
  12. Misiorowski only went 1 inning. Guessing that was the plan all along. He went 1-2-3 with a swinging strikeout, flyout to the track in CF, and a broken bat grounder to 3B. He sat 98-99 and topped out at 101. Had two really wild pitches but other than that everything was located pretty well.
  13. I don’t think Gasser is remotely ready for an MLB spot start. Dude has 27 BB and HBP in 35 innings in AAA. His command has not looked good since he got to AAA.
  14. I just really don't understand Ethan Small this year. Tonight he's back to pretty much exclusively throwing his FB. 18 FB to only 5 CH. Threw 6 straight FB to Westburg and he crushed the 6th one 420ft to LF.
  15. With runners on 2nd and 3rd and 2 outs, Singleton hits what looks to be a routine grounder to 2B. He doesn't run very hard out of the Box. Norfolk's 2B boots the ball, but because Singleton wasn't running hard out of the box the 2B had enough time to pick up the ball and make the out at 1st.
  16. Just not this org's day. Almost glad Biloxi got rained out so they didn't have to join in on the suckage.
  17. Only 8 called strikes for Gasser today. 16 whiffs. I don't know why he is struggling with command, but if he doesn't trust his stuff it seems short-sighted as his stuff is plenty good enough to play more in zone.
  18. A lot of really poor fundamental baseball from the Brewers organization today. This time Toro makes the 1st out of the inning at 3B trying to stretch a double into a triple. The throw pretty easily beat him to 3B.
  19. Strikes out the next 3 batters but the runner scores from 3rd on a spiked wild pitch from Gasser. Thought Navarreto made a pretty poor effort at blocking it though.
  20. Gasser's poor command since he got to AAA comes back to bite him this inning. Walking the number 9 hitter who had a .077 BA and then gives up a triple to number 1 hitter.
  21. I agree. Wasn't hit hard and Walker took his sweet time throwing that to 2B and Adames still got doubled off.
  22. And the runner that scored reached on a catcher's interference.
  23. Eric Brown Jr with the classic dip the elbow in while making it look like you're attempting to get out of the way HBP. As much as I dislike this stuff, I think it is actually a skill that can be weaponized by hitters.
