One thing I missed on Brock is that he's a 3 year JUCO guy not a 2 year JUCO guy. If he doesn't sign then he's a senior sign next year. Would need a monster season to get a big bonus in 2025.
Yeah I looked him up on twitter and got about 5-6 tweets down and was like no chance this guy signs. Seems like someone who has Day 1 potential if he has a good season at Oklahoma with that size and athleticism at catcher
Piggy back seems way more sustainable because on a piggy back day there's a solid chance you don't even need to use the bullpen. We have piggy backed Hall and Priester 3 times this year and the bullpen only pitched 1 inning in those 3 games.
The thing is with the college picks outside of Owens they were all juniors (or sophomores) so I'm not sure they will be really low bonus guys. I'm sure they will mostly be underslot but not sure it will be enough to counteract Flores who I imagine will be a bit over slot.
Technically not another this year. Owens was the only college senior the Brewers drafted in rounds 1-10. Interesting first 10 rounds for the Brewers. A couple college bats in the middle rounds and only one college senior.
Yeah it's definitely interesting to see a guy go from really good as a freshman to really bad as junior with seemingly no injuries to speak of. Seems like a guy who could benefit from a new perspective
Episcope seems like a Woodward type pick. Buying the stuff despite the injury risk. Had TJ as a senior in high school then internal brace surgery this year so double elbow surgery guy already
