  1. Absolutely not lol. I don't really care that Stewart has 2 more years of team control when he is 33 and has never been able to stay healthy. The guy hasn't thrown 40 innings in a season since 2019.
  2. I know you're joking but Koenig actually had more velo than Uribe tonight. Topped out at 99.5 which was the hardest pitch of his career.
  3. I agree that it's a pretty fair deal. Just no chance the Brewers would do it.
  4. I was sitting next to a group of four (two husbands and two wives) and one of the wives said oh Woodruff hit a HR this year, maybe he hits a HR here. I turned to her and said no chance he hits a HR off Kershaw. I was so confident that I said if he does, I'll buy beers for all four of you. Probably the best 4 beers I've bought in my life.
  5. This is special folks. We need to enjoy every single inning we can watch of Misiorowski.
  6. Ashby came in with the Brewers up 7-0 and also came back out with the Brewers up 9-0 in the 8th. Ashby has the second lowest leverage index (game leverage when entering the game) in the Brewers current bullpen only ahead of Easton McGee so you're very wrong on how he's been used. Also Alexander had a 1.04 leverage index as a Brewer this year compared to Ashby's 0.66 so Alexander was used in more leverage spots.
  7. Probably depends on how Vaughn plays, but I'd definitely be interested in getting one of O'Hearn or Naylor. Thumb injuries are tricky. Feel like even when players get back from them their hitting can be impacted.
  8. You’d need substantially more to get 3.5 seasons of Abrams
  9. They have a power lefty. His name is Aaron Ashby. We just need our manager to stop treating him like he's Tyler Alexander
  10. The Brewers lead MLB in infield hits with 94 and are tied for first in MLB in bunt hits with 15
  11. Wonder if they hit 40K for Misiorowski vs Kershaw tomorrow
  12. Freddy was feeling himself tonight. His 96.0 average FB velo was the hardest of his career as a SP and the 98.7 and 98.9 mph pitches to Pages in the 6th are tied for his 4th and 8th hardest pitches of his career.
  13. I think this is a blessing in disguise for the Brewers giving them the ability to go after one of Naylor or O'Hearn to upgrade the 1B spot which they probably wouldn't have done if Hoskins was healthy. Hoskins hasn't been hitting for like 6 weeks so even though I don't think Bauers/Vaughn are going to match Hoskins 115 wRC+ on the season while he's on the IL, I think they could be an upgrade over how he's hit the last 6 weeks (72 wRC+)
  14. Suarez isn't a superstar. No idea why you would even try to compare him to a Soto level player.
  15. No chance Root is available. He threw 3 innings on the 3rd. You don't see relievers pitch on 2 days rest after throwing 3 innings in the minor leagues.
  16. Congrats to him but that's embarrassing for the White Sox and MLB that their lone representative is a guy with a below league average ERA.
  17. Vaughn was already down long enough to gain an extra year of control putting him at 2 more seasons of control though not sure it really matters considering he's very likely to be non-tendered.
  18. That was a lot of fun. Just an exceptional pitching day from the Brewers. Seeing Woodruff back on that mound and absolutely dealing like that was special.
  19. Yeah brain fart there but either way you never want to see that many pulled ground balls.
  20. That 2025 AAA sample is not what you want to see. Tons of pulled ground balls and a bunch of fly balls to center.
  21. Didn't watch his first PA today but I thought he looked really comfortable yesterday. Seemed much more grounded in his swing.
  22. I don't think anyone here needs to be protected though there are a few names I would want to put on the AAA roster in the offseason to protect from the MiLB portion of the Rule 5 draft. MiLB protections: LHP Brian Fitzpatrick INF Ethan Murray C Matt Wood INF Jadher Areinamo
  23. @Jim Goulart are you sure Childers is Rule 5 eligible? Fangraphs has him as not eligible until December 2026. He was signed as a UDFA in 2023 which would have him on the same Rule 5 timeline as guys like Wilken and Boeve and they aren't Rule 5 eligible. Or am I missing something?
  24. Yeah there was really no reason to pull Hall. 23 pitches to get through 2 and 8-9-1 was coming up. Honestly it probably ended up being a good thing that Koenig couldn't strand the bases loaded. Who pitches the 9th or extras at that point and did we have any faith the offense would score another run? With Woodruff making his first MLB start in nearly two years tomorrow while not fully stretched out, it would have been a disaster if that game kept going and you had to burn Anderson or Megill/Uribe
