    Yup. Tom was bad, but at least it wasn't a clear ACL or anything, he could be coming back(though these injuries they don't always label as "significant" can end up being LVN types... Then Watson who is pretty irreplaceable after Kraft. Parsons was the final nail. It's a 3-4 year window before we've gotta start really kicking the salary cap can down the road, so losing one year really sucks. Then again, Reggie had a season ending injury and god healed his hammy! So... maybe....that could happen again? Anyone feeling confident?

    Yeah, I do find it annoying when we're talking about the Packers, I make a comment about THE PACKERS and you start talking about the Bucks and the Brewers. What about the Badgers? Marquette? How far does this fanbase extend to in a thread specifically about the Green Bay Packers? Yeah, YOU replied and "made it apparent" you were arguing with me about something entirely different. "Fly off the handle?" Get over yourself dude. Are you still patting yourself on the back for cracking that HUGE secret I was Fan174 or whatever on the old website? Well Golly! That's super impressive... if you ignore... me specifically saying that, but otherwise, incredible detective work! From what you're reading... this morning, right? Is that from Watson's Dad saying So 15 hours later, you've got more information than we had at the time... but you're REALLY invested in arguing about the "feelings," of fans from DURING the game. What purpose is that serving? And that's how this discussion started. I know we're just kinda changing it up as we go, but that was the entire discussion.

AGAIN, you took MY comment about the PACKERS, made it about the Bucks in 2021 and then made it about an entire metro area to include the Dodgers and LA teams when I was clearly talking about... the Packers and you're whining that YOU made it clear in RESPONSE to my post that you were talking about someone different? .... yeah, I don't care dude. You've done this a couple times. You either change the subject in reply or you use a strawman. "Everyone felt... until Parsons." Me talking... obviously about the Packers You bringing up Giannis and the Dodgers... So you talk about what you want, just... don't respond to me and respond to a different topic.

    I don't think it is, nor do I think that'd work. Micah Parsons or Watson last year or Kraft this year... they can have those injuries at any time. Also, it's not that easy to win 10 gams AND rest your best players. It works in Baseball because they're a direct correlation between resting your pitcher and being MORE likely to keep them healthy come October, there doesn't work in a game like Football. It may put more of an emphasis on depth and rotations(which again, I am still excited to see Sorrell and see how he can play WITH Parsons next year)... but I don't see how you can be strategic in preventing injuries. It's... just too random and fluky. I do hope part of the future is sending more guys to Madison to work on injury prevention. It won't stop fluke plays like Watson or Parsons, but Watson hasn't had hamstring injuries, neither has Stokes. Marshawn Lloyd should sure as hell go there this off-season since he's had the most cursed start to a career I can recall. Not counting on him for anything, but also don't think they should give up on him. But, in fairness, our injuries haven't really been the soft tissue injuries we've had in the past. They've been probably fewer players, but more significant. That's just... bad luck.

    To quote you, "did you read my last paragraph?" And the Rams haven't been a better organization than the Packers. Unless you're including all sports which... given this is a Packers thread, I obviously wasn't.

    Yeah... that's true. Tom seems like a less serious injury based on MLF's comments. Watson... he gave the "it doesn't look good," type statement, but... maybe it's not season ending. My problem with this defense going into the year is we didn't have the CBs to play man. I think we can still get pressure on the QB... but Parsons gets those explosive QUICK pressures. Gary's a good edge, but... there's a huge gap. If we're without Watson, I'm just not sure how we score. Watson OR Kraft and we can move the ball, but neither? IDK, I think it's on to '26, but I'll try.

    LOL... I don't know man, it doesn't feel right when you're the most optimistic guy! I mean, you're not the most pessimistic... but... we're all in on a 3-4 year window. Making the playoffs or losing in the playoffs, it just doesn't mean a ton to me. We are a spoiled fan base. A "blue sky," fan base as some say(at least until we get to NFCCGs).

    You mean where you make a declaration about how high everyone was on our chances without knowing about Tom's status or Watson's? And no, I wasn't high on their chances with Watson likely out for the year and Tom's status up in the air. So... you can make this broad statement about how everyone "felt" but that's your perception. I'm curious how you arrived at that conclusion? A poll or... what? As for the "frauds without Micah," I... don't care if you beieve that. We were a top 5-6 defense last year without him. I think he gave us a much better chance to win. I don't know what "frauds" means other than kids on Twitter running their mouths. We were a good enough team to win WITH him depsite other injuries. Now we're not...WITH the other injuries. The fraud nonsense... it means as much to me as that 67 ********.

    Wyatt is... and always has been a better pass rusher than run defender and it's never been close. He's gotten better at the later, but pass rushing was his strength.

    Did you watch the game today? It's NOT just Parsons. It's Watson-likely broken collar bone. Tom is hurt. Kraft was hurt before that and our best DT and interior pass rusher was hurt before THAT. It's literally 4 of the 5 most important players on the team... and YOU'RE the one who said we're a "1 player fraud." That's not it at all. If Parsons is the only player who is hurt... we're probably not going to win, but we've got a chance. Without Parsons... AND those players we're done.

    Yeah, it kinda does. Some teams have a little more margin for error, but... nobody has THIS much margin for error.

    Love Parsons Tom and Watson are a close 3/4 Wyatt Kraft They're in the top 10. I'd say Cooper, Gary, Reed... maybe Wooden are the 10 most important players on this team. But 4 of the 5 most important are done.

    We should absolutely be in contention next year and hopefully better. Hopefully we'll have a reasonably healthy year(by NFL standards). We had two bad FA signings that we'll likely get out of, but Gute has been pretty good in FA overall. This was why I wasn't as eager to trade for Garrett(though two 1sts, I certainly would have) but he's almost 30. Parsons is 26. He'll be back. Move on from Jenkins, Banks, Hobbs... and go for it next year. This team was good enough to win WITH Watson, Parsons and Tom. I'm not giving up on the whole Jordan Love era. Just this season. But **** this sucks.

    This board can be fairly pessimistic... but... it's absolutely over. I really think the best thing you can root for the rest of the year is to see guys like Sorrell, Golden, Morgan maybe... I don't know who else, but just go with the young guys. I'll just have to look forward to Kraft, Watson, Tom, year 2 Golden on offense and Parsons and hopefully some upgrades at CB next year. But... that's a wrap this year. Even if they play in the playoffs... they're not a threat to really do much. Certainly not win multiple games.

    Yeah, it's just that feeling where you KNOW what's coming, but... there's still that irrational hope. Watson MIGHT not have broken the collarbone. Parsons MIGHT have an MCL(which makes no sense). Tom...well, he could also be fine OR he could have a torn ACL. Who knows. This is pretty much the end of the season though. Welp... on to the draft?

    Is today as bad as the Seattle loss? With how mediocre the NFL is this year...and how the Packers were playing with Watson... anyone else feel like this is on level with those losses?

    Ok... Brooks is not a good RB. He's great at ONE thing... picking up the blitz. Please no more inside zone. Just...force it to Golden. Lets see if he's a guy or not- that it matters because the OL without Tom is not good.

    The NFL as a whole is going to suck until... HOPEFULLY week 7 next year. I don't know... assuming Parsons comes back on the Watson schedule... This year is a wrap. I mean... they will probably still get in, but does anyone care? This team has a good supporting cast, but take Parsons away from the D and now the secondary has to do something and the CBs can't. Take Kraft, Parsons and Tom off this offense and... I mean, it's a wrap. The Parsons trade was still worth it. It's the type of trade you have to make, but it's just such a kick in the balls when it all falls apart like this. EVERYTHING. I guess I look forward to seeing how Sorrell plays and... Golden. It won't be good enough, but baring some Giannis like miracle where Parson's ACL didn't explode, I've lost all faith in this team. Still think Love is the guy. That's something but Jeeesus ***** this sucks.

    What does this even mean? "1 player frauds?" That's ridiculous. This has been one of the best teams in the NFL. You lose 3 of your 4 most important players in one game... yeah, you're probably going to lose, but... I think it's pretty stupid to call them "frauds" this year.

    Yeah... if the injuries are what they look like(and... when TF are they not with a knee like that)... it's a wrap. Most important players Love Parsons Tom Watson Wyatt is in that next group, but... *****... what a miserable game. This could be the worst game I've seen as a Packers fan...
