    Scrub-a-Dubbers Unite! I started at an oil change at 15, and worked at one through college. One would be amazed at the amount of drivers openly drinking beer at 7 AM on a Saturday morning in glorious Cudahy, WI. And being offered weed as a tip a couple times a year was a nice gesture (declined, though). The fun days were when the elderly people would simply not follow (or more likely, see) the guide in directions and put their cars partway into the basement.

    Well, early baseball (I was at a vintage baseball tourney last weekend) stated that each baseman can be no more than one pace away from the base they are defending, but the shortstop was free to roam, and the shortstop shifted every time a lefty was at the plate. Point being, shifts have been going on for a really long time. If a hitter tends to hit the ball in one direction, you should defend that direction.

    Not a mod, so take this for what its worth. That thread was headed down a dark, dark path, namely politics and religion. Due to the 2004 election, where civil discussion became seemingly impossible, threads that take on a political or religious tone are discouraged. After all, this IS a baseball website, and there are certainly tons of other more appropriate places for that kind of discussion. Yea, the past few weeks has not been fun at all on this website. Civility -20.
