Jake Bauers will be 30 years old by the end of the year in Early October. Hoskin's is 31 and one injury away from maybe ending it. So we won't let him slip away if he truly has the potential I think he does.

I hope he does have a great spring training but Nashville is where he will most likely start the season just so he can play every day. He was with the Double-A Biloxi Shuckers last season but hit .284 which is great.

Garrett Mitchell, OF, Brewers, Staying healthy is key: MLB.com Has Milwaukee Brewers Outfielder Garrett Mitchell As a Breakout Candidate For the 2025 MLB Season. Injuries have stalled Mitchell’s attempts to cement himself as the Brewers’ starting center fielder over the past two seasons. After missing most of 2023 with a left shoulder subluxation, Mitchell fractured his left index finger last spring and didn’t make his 2024 debut until July 1. However, he posted impressive numbers after returning from the injured list, recording eight homers, 11 steals and a 126 wRC+ over 224 plate appearances, while also providing plus defense in center field. His strong performance helped the Crew overcome the loss of Christian Yelich to a season-ending back injury in late July. Yelich is expected to be healthy for Opening Day, but star shortstop Willy Adames’ departure as a free agent has left a gap in Milwaukee’s lineup. Mitchell is one of the young players the Brewers will be counting on to step up as they look to replace Adames’ production in 2025. https://wisportsheroics.com/milwaukee-brewers-garrett-mitchell-breakout-2025/#google_vignette

For starters Tyler Black, primarily a first baseman and Jackson Chourio are not even in the same universe as far as offensive talent go's, plus Chourio is 4 years younger. The question asked is like saying who was better Goeff Jenkins or Reggie Jackson because Goeff Jenkins had a better career batting average than Reggie Jackson. My biggest concern for Chourio is: Can he stay healthy playing every day? We should at least be comparing by positions otherwise it will turn into a comparison of 10,000 odd questions.

I think you maybe right TJ surgery. But I did find this from a year ago when we first got him. https://brewerfanatic.com/news-rumors/milwaukee-brewers/bryan-hudson-bullpen-candidate-extension-velocity-spring-training-interview/

I don't see him going from averaging less than 2 innings per appearance in 2024 to being a starter with a history of arm ailments, one of the being Tommy John surgery.

Caleb Durbin will be our 3rd baseman I believe, he has good speed, great instincts on the bases. We didn't trade Devin Williams for nothing. https://www.milb.com/player/caleb-durbin-702332

I agree with this article from last season.
-
I agree 100% but I think it would be wise to take baby steps with him early on just to be on the safe side.

Jets tell Aaron Rodgers they’re moving on from the QB in face-to-face meeting. News on Superbowl Sunday, LOL, they must really hate him.

Patience Remains Key for Brandon Woodruff, Brewers
Brian replied to Jack Stern's topic in Brewer Fanatic Front Page News
No way 150+IP, but maybe a sub 3. ERA as middle relievers type IP. He is In his 30's now but still the bulldog mentality. He will be quality again but less innings. -
I wouldn't mess with anything right out of the gate with hitting this spring unless something unusual appears or he is struggling. His biggest weakness to me was his defense last season. Finishing 3rd for "rookie of the year" is not a reason to start changing up things and messing with his brain unless something highly obvious is identified. Don't forget he rolled his ankle twice last season, once in the out field and once on 1st base which did not help matters with his baseball abilities. Off Topic, with Yelich coming back, who go's where or DH-ing next season? Because LF is Christians I believe.

How are the Milwaukee Brewers sustaining success? Part 1 and 2. https://www.vivaelbirdos.com/st-louis-cardinals-sabermetrics-analysis/2025/1/25/24315433/how-are-the-milwaukie-brewers-sustaining-success https://www.vivaelbirdos.com/2025/1/25/24352001/how-are-the-milwaukee-brewers-sustaining-success-version-2

I would be all for it but naming rights are all about $$$$$.

I think Turang is the best base stealer the Brewers have and would probably be leading off to start this season. The base stealing threat sure stresses the opposing pitchers a lot right out the gate, that is if he is getting on base. I also liked the way Weeks managed after Murphy got suspended last year, he was a little more aggressive on the base paths than Murphy was.
