I think we should give up looking because if Hoskins doesn't have a bounce back year we have Ernesto Martinez who hopefully will be our future waiting in the wings at 1st base in Nashville. I think the money would be better spent somewhere else. I also said before, Hoskins knee was never 100% last season and may never be, but who knows. Also, Hoskins has never been a high avg hitter either, .235 may be the best we will see from him with 25-30 HR's if he has a good season.
Personally I don't think the Brewers are even looking that hard.
