    MLB Network said on there MLB NOW program that Pat Murphy should be NL manager of the year hands down. Because absolutely no one picked them, no one. They entered the year without a traditional starting rotation, losing Corbin Burns in a trade, injuries to Wade Miley and closer Devin Williams for first 1/2 of the season, Christian Yelich out and Brandon Woodruff out. They compared the Brewers to the underdog 2015 KC Royals as one of the greatest stories by getting the most out of themselves by setting day to day realistic goals. Go Brewers Go!

    From Sept. 1 through the end of the regular season, all clubs must carry 28 players, with a limit of 14 pitchers.

    For players not currently on their team's 40-man roster, they will need to be added by 11:59 p.m. ET on Aug. 31 in order to be eligible for the postseason. So Chad Patrick cannot be called up as far as I know.

    His work load has really been down lately he has only pitched 8 innings in his last 3 starts and using Koenig as an opener today so who knows.

    I agree, plus he is fresh and rested from only playing in 67 games this season.

Bauers could run Faster than Tellez with his barking dogs and by the way Tellez got released because he has gotten 5 hits in the month of Sept with a .116 Sept batting average in that time. No thanks, we got rid of him because he couldn't hit, it would be a lateral move at the very best.

    I agree, I also agree it would have to be DH. But ... I did look into his history and he did play out field as his second most played position besides catching.

    I would hate to see Aaron Civale not to make the postseason roster even as a long relief man. Last 7 games a 2.95 ERA sure would be hard for me to bypass. He is one of our hottest pitchers right now.
