  1. What a BS call he missed it by 3 inches.
  2. Zero, those are all next week like you said. We are in 1st by 9 games.
  3. Well we got a few more back 8-6 now.
  4. I'm hoping AZ just has our number for now. But the playoffs it could change.
  5. We need to score more than 3 or 4 runs per game against decent teams and that would change everything. I don't think 3-4 runs will cut it in the playoffs.
  6. I think the Mets would be my choice. AZ definitely not, they have our number, SD is loaded with talent but the Mets to me are the weakest link.
  7. Haase has been an offensive bright spot that hasn't played very much this season, he does deserve more of a chance than what he has gotten. Brewers pitchers must prefer the other catchers over him otherwise it would be hard for me to understand why he hasn't gotten more playing time. He is a speedy running catcher on the bases that has shown he can hit but only started a hand full of times.
  8. I hope he pitches well to boost both himself and the Brewers. To bad he cannot provide more length.
  9. Everyone thinks Chourio is good with a 20/20 season and he is but ... Ohtani Looking at a 60-60 season. Almost hard to even imagine. With a .297 batting average.
  10. What you said is true right now but to be fair the Brewers have done well. You have to count home grown players like Jackson Chourio, Tobias Meyers, Aaron Ashby and Garrett Mitchell developed by the Brewers. Also our trades. We traded Corbin Burns away for a whole bunch of very good players. Also, the trade that got Contreras over here to the Brewers. Look at the Chicago Cubs, there payroll is over double the Brewers and that is not even counting Craig Counsell's 40 million dollar contract.
  11. The part I highlighted is most important to me, Chourio in the last 2 weeks turned his ankle then twisted his knee and whatever happened to him tonight.
  12. Yes and Chourio is really getting banged up lately, I might even sit him for at least one game and let him get back to 100%.
  13. This team has regressed since they clinched. Not high quality baseball the last few games.
  14. I was thinking the exact same thing, also Sanchez and Hoskins, same type hitters.
  15. I agree but to be fair they are both pitching great in AAA. Which is a good problem to have.
  16. Just read the posts, looks like a counselling and talk therapy session. 1 run on 2 hits and 1 error on a pitcher who has been struggling his last 6 starts. Oh well, we will get them tonight.
  17. Correction that may have been 2021.
  18. Brewers management should be smarter than that when they have to play a game the next day especially after the Devin Williams wall punching incident in 2022.
  19. Exactly, they played exactly like they were hungover.
  20. I agree either the Braves or Mets plus they have a rainout to make up I believe. Inclement Weather - Makeup date Sept 26 New York Mets 84-68, 41-34 away Postponed Atlanta Braves 82-70, 42-33 home
  21. If Willy is rested today hope we leave Turang at second and put Andruw Monasterio in at SS.
  22. https://www.milb.com/mississippi/news/jacob-misiorowski-thriving-in-relief-for-nashville-sounds
  23. Well they ended up beating the Phillies anyway, so its all good with me and little Craigie Counsell must feel so doggone blue, poor guy. But his wallet is full of new Chicago money.
  24. Garrett Mitchell last 7 games look good, batting .318 and his last 3 games he was 4 for 9 with 4 walks. It would be great if he keeps it up. We need someone to step it up having a great end of season and playoffs when everything is at steak and on the line.
  25. Sounds a little bit like the way Devin Williams deals with "the stress in the moment."
