    I ranted many times mainly about his pitching changes I know that. He is avg at best.

    I think so also because we upped our season win total by over 10 games per year and Counsell quadrupled his salary, so everyone is happy now.

    If Padre pitchers are throwing strikes there is no "waiting out" anything and I feel they are good enough to do that. As long as we are disciplined and swing at strikes, not chasing, that should be our only approach. Do not do what the Cubs did by hitters watching good pitches go by early for strikes. They looked just awful. P.S. Machado played out of his mind that series.

    I believe Craig thought the grass was greener on the other side when he went to the Cubs. He left the small market Brewers stating, "he needed a new challenge" like Milwaukee just didn't spend enough money to ever make it anywhere. Now he's stuck in that cesspool ownership that thinks money is all you need for a championship. By the way the "chairman Tom Ricketts" inherited his money from his father Joe Rickets. Tom having the team just handed over to him by his father Joe, a family of pampered spoiled brats.

    Evidently you don't follow the Cubs chat rooms because the consensus is: After Counsell signed a record-setting managerial contract with the Cubs ahead of the 2024 season. Come to find out we got a guy who treated October like it was optional.     I'm convinced the people running NBC Sports Peacock are not even sports fans and definitely not baseball fans with there type of coverage. NBC is paying the MLB roughly $200 million per year to host the Wild Card Series and high-profile postseason games (like the Cubs-Padres and White Sox-Astros series) were kept entirely off traditional television, forcing viewers to pay for a crap ass Peacock subscription to watch.

    How bad of an organization are the Mets? Freddy Peralta traded to the Rays on August 2nd. Since the trade, 2026 Stats with Tampa Bay: Record: 5–2 Earned Run Average (ERA): 3.25 Innings Pitched: 55.1 Strikeouts: 43 WHIP: 1.01 Last 41 innings pitched with Tampa a 1.76 ERA. So it took about 2 starts with Tampa to straighten him out. Kind of crazy if you really think about it. Also, he was AL pitcher of the month September.
