    I wouldn't go that far... top 15 class coming in, plus much more size to be able to compete. They'll be a younger, but more balanced roster. With the talent he has coming in, I have a hard time thinking they'll be down for a few years.     Darren Jackson hits a grand slam in St. Louis, I believe... Vasgersian LOST IT. For some reason I remember that one. Matty V's call of Sexson's HR in the first game at Miller Park... "OHHH RICHIE SEXSON! OH YOU SEXSON BOY YOU!" I still remember both Sutton and Ueck's call of Prince's first HR against the Twins. That moment gave me chills, as you could see the future of the franchise blossom. A lot stick out in the past... Paschke's call of the last out of Nieves' no-no. Uecker's Easter Sunday call. Going way back the call of Sixto's grand slam. Dwayne Mosley's call of the last out of the ALCS. Stuff I could recite on the spot.. haha. A lot of my favorites came from this year though... Ueck's call of the Braun HR and game ending DP were classic. It was like Ueck didn't know what to say at the end, so he just yelled "HEEEEYYYYYY THEY WIN!" I thought the TV call of the DP was great as well, mainly because of Rock yelling "YES!" in the background.

    My apologies... that night I was at the bar with an MU shirt on and some UWM kid started yapping... I had a few drinks in me and was a little feisty still after that incident. I would have edited it earlier but I haven't had a ton of time. I've actually been to a couple of UWM-GB games, in both cities. It's a solid local rivalry. I think UWM wins this one... Kowalczyk can't coach his way out of a paper bag.

    MU gives me a heart attack... almost blowing a 21 point lead at Rutgers. Just glad to start out 3-0, with a very, very tough West Virginia club coming in on Saturday. The Big East is ridiculous this year.

    I'm miffed at TWC right now... set the DVR to record the first part of "Baseball" last night. Had never seen it so I recorded the whole series. Cut off after 6 minutes. Of course, they're not replaying it. ARGH.

    It's on TWC 122 right now. They're showing a montage of big playoff moments. I'm really, really excited for this to go live and in HD. They don't have an HD launch date yet for TWC, but it will be up before the season starts. EDIT- Their commercials have the usual big teams....     I never pitched in HS other than screwing around, but when I was really warmed up I could hit 82 on the gun. I doubt I could get up to 70 now, after having elbow problems. I partially tore the ulnar collateral ligament playing softball in college, the ligament made famous by Tommy John surgery. Haven't thrown consistently enough since to see how much I can crank it up without injuring myself again. Can throw a change and a 12-6 curveball.... that actually breaks 12.6% of the time.
