  1. So did they: http://www.dummocrats.com/images/x/2004/0303_large.jpg
  2. He beat the Reds: http://writeinreagan.com/Ronald-Reagan-1981.jpg
  3. I cracked up when I saw that on the news. Great to see the guys happy for Hart. Like someone said, the spontaneous stuff like this makes baseball great.

  5. That was the jist of it. He completely blew off a legitimate question. I thought it was incredibly rude to the reporter who asked it. Either that, or he really had no idea why he used him. Toss up.
  6. H As in Horse's Butt. Just for how he handled the Mota question after the game. What a jerk.
  7. A mi tambien, Pedro. A mi tambien.
  8. T BONE- I'm a recent Marquette Alum ('07) and would love to answer any questions you have about MU. I will offer one piece of advice- don't get hung up on the cost. Their financial aid packages are fantastic. I had similar numbers (grades and ACT) to you, and I had half of my education paid for in scholarships and grants. Keep an open mind when you go in, and don't be worrying about dollar signs. Like I said, any questions or help I can be, feel free to PM me.
  9. Crew were the lead story on Sportscenter. Excellent.
  10. That was probably the most electric atmosphere I can remember for a midweek game at Miller Park. And the thing I loved was the crowd didn't let down when CC came out. I was there with my brother, and when Hart came up in the 7th with the bases loaded, everyone was standing and the place got loud. He said he couldn't remember a time he saw that. I turned and said to him "Just wait til October." It just felt like this was the kickoff of the pennant race for the fans, I hope these large crowds can continue to bring that same level of energy. Awesome night to be at the ballyard.
  11. Tough one to take. The real big thing to ponder tonight- Will this be a cold shower for the Branyan mancrushes?
  12. This one just doesn't feel like our night. Hope I'm wrong, and the bats wake up.
  13. This guy's strike zone is ridiculous. That pitch to Jimenez was on the corner.
  14. Nice play by Cam, keeping the runners on 1st and 2nd. Come on Seth, find the postage stamp.
  15. Got two tickets in 424, Row 9 on stubhub for $15 total. Awesome.
  16. I have a similar question as well- I was at Zim's this weekend and there is a picture of the final out of the 1982 ALCS. Shot from behind first base, it shows Coop holding his glove over his head, just as he's about to run towards the mound. It's shot at that exact moment before the pandemonium starts, like Coop is the only one who knows he got the out. It's an incredible shot. Anyone know what I'm talking about/ where I can find it?
  17. Both, darnit http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif (Sheets, for the record.) I know it won't happen, but imagine if they could sign both- Sheets Sabathia Gallardo Parra Suppan Sick.
  18. Not looking like I'd qualify for rent assistance. AC isn't a big deal, especially being close to the lake. It'd be nice, but not a dealbreaker by any means. I'm probably guilty of looking in too specific of an area, looks like I'll have to expand a bit.
