  1. Interesting point on his balance. Especially when he goes to LF it looks like he's falling back toward the dugout. I had wondered if it had to do with the knee... if he was stepping more towards first to protect it. But a back issue could also explain balance issues.
  2. I will. He and his teammates are finishing up an incredible regular season. Getting through injuries, COVID protocols, the whole grind to be in this position. They have WS potential, despite the tepid September performance. He has to know he's a huge reason for that. And to do something that absolutely moronic because he can't hold his liquor? It almost defies belief.
  3. From Rosiak: Devin Williams just told reporters he punched a wall following the clinch celebration Sunday after having a few drinks and fractured his right hand. The injury will require surgery and will likely end his season.
  4. Is anyone getting a "You are not entitled to this content" error message on the Bally app? Been getting it across devices. Going thru DirecTV credentials.
  5. You might be onto something: Although I cringe when I see Giannis switch off of Ayton I'd be curious how many of the Giannis/Bobby minutes came with Ayton on the bench. Particularly in G3 when he was dealing with fouls.
  6. Was out there back in 2015 for a long weekend and loved it. Stayed by the harbor, so a lot of the attractions were walkable. Did a tour and a game at Fenway. Easy ride on the T. The tour was awesome, you really get to see the whole park. And if you have an older tour guide like I did, the extra stories/anecdotes were awesome.
  7. Mainly tinkering/some convenience. If I can load up that box and not have to shuffle new chips in every hour that would be nice.
  8. Depends on how they're gonna play it. Portis has been really poor when they've been switching. Not very good awareness or communication. Brook has his limitations but he reads the game very well.
  9. Damn near miraculous. Even if they fall short this series without him, at least they're not losing next year.
  10. Has anyone used pellets in a cast iron smoker box? I was thinking about trying it, but I'm a little concerned about them igniting more easily than the soaked chips.
  11. Swelling has to subside for them to get a good look at it. We may not have results until tomorrow.
  12. Darryl Morsell to MU for his COVID year. Definitely not worried about the defense. Gonna have to win some games in the 50s and 60s this year, though.
  13. Has anyone used a resume writing service, and if so, was it worth it? It's almost like admitting defeat for me... I've been in recruitment for 10 years. I know a good resume when I see it, and I thought mine was. But I'm getting passed over for roles I'm qualified for, and I'm thinking it might be that my resume doesn't adequately show the scope and depth of my experience. Maybe I need a fresh set of eyes. Also, anyone looking to hire a TA Manager who is sick of dealing with recruiting technical talent in this market?
  14. Been about 10 years since I've been out there, but let me tell ya, Uber/Lyft will make it a way more enjoyable visit. The lack of cabs there was BRUTAL. We stayed at the Renaissance right across the river from PNC, easy walk to the park.
  15. I use a Masterbuilt propane cabinet smoker. Can fit a good amount of meat in there, but the larger packer cuts would be too big for it. Gives a better smoke than electric. Temperature takes a little babysitting depending on the conditions, but much less than charcoal did.
  16. It would, but it's not as bad of a delay. The latency on YTTV is about 35 seconds, I have seen similar for ATT.
  17. For the Roku users... if they do pull YTTV support, chances are the current version of the app will still work. Spectrum went through this too, and people were still able to use the app. Just don't delete it. I'm still kicking around the idea of ATT TV or going back to cable. Being a minute-plus behind on the Bally app takes some of the enjoyment out of it for me.
  18. NBA does blackout local games on League Pass. They also do it for games on NBA TV. ESPN/TNT they still air normally.
  19. This might be a stupid question... assuming the games are carried on a streaming app, knowing there's a delay from live action, how do you effectively integrate in-game betting as part of it? Regardless, I have YTTV and really hope they work a deal out before the Bucks start up. I love the platform and would hate to give it up for ATT Now or cable.
  20. When we sold our place this summer I decided to dump Spectrum. TV/Internet was over $180/mo. Went with YouTube TV, and it has worked out well. Has all the sports, and major channels, the only one I miss at times is Comedy Central. Saving $65/mo. The only tough adjustment was keeping the phone away during live sporting events. That 30 second delay gets ya.
  21. Higher res version and it looks just as bad as I thought it would... https://www.mlbshop.com/milwaukee-brewers/milwaukee-brewers-wincraft-wisconsin-state-license-plate-two-sided-12-x-18-garden-flag/t-14006505+p-3640422248736+z-9-1332895014?_ref=p-DLP:m-GRID:i-r5c2:po-17
  22. If that scenario happens wouldn't the Cubs be one game back of MIL/STL?
  23. My rough guess based on the remaining schedules- STL: 90-72 MIL: 88-74 CHC: 88-74 Still, fun as hell to be able to scoreboard watch. Something I didn't see coming a month ago.
