    Ok, my first time starting the game thread, so hopefully it will bring the crew a series win. Hopefully the Crew can finally tag Luke Hudson for some runs as well. Starter Doug Davis so far this season has a 9-7 record with an ERA of 4.18. Career #s at Great American Ballpark: 2-1 record in 4 starts: 26.0 innings 3.46 ERA 1.19 WHIP .255 BAA 3 HRA and 1 complete game. Starter Luke Hudson so far this season has a 1-5 record with an ERA of 10.05. Career #s vs. Milwaukee 2-0 record in 2 starts: 12.0 innings 0.00 ERA 0.75 WHIP .103 BAA.     Its true that our lineup doesn't look to grand tonight. Yet I don't fault Ned on the decision to sit Jenks. Jenks has been putrid against lefties all season. Magruder, while no Willie Mays, hits slightly better vs. lefties, thus we can give Jenks some rest, and let Magruder have some chances. Also, if, and this is a big if, we are trying to get Jenkins stats up high enough to get a decent return in a trade. Having him hit against pitchers that are going to have a negative effect on his value wouldn't be wise.

    Jenks doesn't hit lefties too well, thus the reason he is sitting tonight.

    More offense if the game went into extras, at least that would be my guess.

    Because Branyan would have batted for the pitcher (had Magruder gotten a hit) and they would have moved him to 3rd and Hall to SS.

    Is it just me or has the offense looked...good...in the last few nights. I'm confused, based on everything I've heard on this website the past week, the offense is supposed to stink. What gives?
