    But he practiced with the team! Reminds me of a user who was banned recently who said that he was friends with a major league GM. We ban all kinds of important people here at Brewerfan.net, because we're teh jerks.

    I'm not sure if he ever posted, but he was a regular in the chat room, and had a habit of sending nasty PM's to players. Here's a link to an article about it. EDIT: I take that back, he posted a message where he was trying to hock all of his Brewers swag.

    Kapler wouldn't make it through waivers, and that would be unfortunate.

    Hoffy was always a big Hart fan (in fact, it's something he would try to say that "we all" weren't in an attempt to defame us after his banning). I know that bjames I think claimed that Hart's big long foul ball in his initial call-up was going to be his most memorable moment. Although in fairness, I had my doubts about Corey when he sputtered in AAA initially as well.

    Looking back, the infamous "bjames" had at least 2,000 (I suppose more if you counted his alter-egos). I'm sure Hoffy had a fair number as well, but our post counts don't go back that far because of the Yuku switchover.

    To make something more clear, the taunting email wasn't from the person who originated the thread at brewers.com, it was from BucEBadger (the u/ur guy). I apologize if I inadvertently misled someone.

    I hate to hijack this thread a bit, but I heard a great joke today at work, and this seems as good as any place to share it. Q: What's French for "Turnbow"? A: "Gagne"

    That's the thing about it... Braves fans don't see the every day stuff we ride Yost about, and we don't see the every day stuff that fans ride other managers about. I think managing, since there are no stats other than W-L records, is the one area where people feel the grass is ALWAYS greener. I'm not saying I'm a big Yost fan, but I'd go out on a limb and say that manager-bashing is a regular occurrence for all teams. It's part of the game.

    The ironic thing is that people who post these exaggerations only encourage people to check out our site. Honestly, I just wish people would realize that each message board provides entertainment value for a certain set of people. If some people like the style of conversation over at Brewers.com, ESPN, SportsBubbler, RealGM, or whatever, that's great. Sometimes people just aren't a good match for Brewerfan (or vice versa) for one reason or another. People shouldn't take it so personally.

    You can install this addon: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1490 But since Addons force you to restart Firefox to launch, you might risk losing your data. As far as minimizing the form, it's possible that your session might time out (depending on how the site is designed), so you might lose your work regardless.

    Ahhh.... I see who that's from. He tipped his hand: This was the guy who ended up getting banned because he said he was going to make an effort to troll the site (turns out, he meant lurk). He was warned about excessive AOL-speak, and went pretty nuts after that, implying that people who spell out the word "you" must be English majors. I won't even post the "parting shot" message he wrote to Ethan (although it was probably the funniest thing I've read all year). But in fairness, I'm sure my wife will agree that I can be a "total u know what sometimes". So I'll spot him a couple of points there.

    *shrug* Even though we don't have this insightful person's support, I guess we'll manage somehow to cope.

    The Brewers make it easy for season ticket holders to sell tickets directly to stubhub (some online interface). If they're offering tix directly to stubhub, I think that's extremely weak sauce.

    OOTP Developments gave me a free license so I could review it as well ... They're going to release another update this week, so I'll download it the and I'm sure play the hell out of it .... I'll report back for a review.
