  1. I agree re: Hader. He went multiple innings in that era too, until he transitioned to a closer role and made comments about not wanting to go 2 or 3 innings per outing.
  2. That's why Hader never went back to starting even though he had in the minors.
  3. Dodgers are making our relievers work hard, that's for sure.
  4. He's not getting more scorn because he was a free agent signing I don't think. I honestly don't think anyone actually cares about that, particularly given his relatively modest contract. I'll give you the rest though. His slugging from that three year window ending 2024 hasn't reappeared, even if if hadn't been snakebit by BABIP bad luck the first 2 to 3 weeks of the season. He went from getting unlucky to just not hitting the ball hard all that often, and his defense has been a little worse than advertised.
  5. It is. Hamilton's options make him the obvious choice on June 1st (assuming that's the Super 2 deadline) but Rengifo, while he's been unlucky, BABIP wise, is making it hard to keep him around. Just not playing good baseball right now.
  6. There's the downside of Bauers in LF. Not ripping the choice to start him. I get it. But it is going to cost you from time to time.
  7. Still think Hamilton will go out first. But Rengifo keeps making it more interesting of a question than it should be.
  8. I'm not sure they ever actually confirmed that. I think that was the problem: they never really figured out what happened to him.
  9. And they were chanting "Bears still suck".... I like it better when it's idiot Cubs fans chanting about a football team at a baseball game. Also nice catch Sal!
  10. Reliever walks the leadoff hitter = tase him during a mound visit.
  11. I'm guessing the Dodgers would have pulled Wrobleski in the first if Chourio had gotten on base with the bases loaded.
  12. Grudgingly impressed (disappionted) that Wrobleski got through 5.
  13. Nice AB from Yeli! Laid off the low stuff out of the zone twice, which he's struggled with the last few days.
  14. Yelich laying off one in the dirt is a good sign, even if he almost went on it.
  15. Just my opinion but I think you have to give him the chance to get through 5. I don't think they need a slow hook for him. Still young. Has to learn to pitch through stuff, even against lineups who will punish you if you miss your spots.
