Not to mention Wolfie has a higher slugging percentage... They way I see it is Melvin's got very little leeway to get Rivera or Kotteras back up here, and a little under 2 months to find us a new SS.

I'm just not sure where people get all these ideas about Lawrie... http://www.millerparkdrunk.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/12/Brett-Lawrie-1.jpg Seriously, I don't understand... http://www.millerparkdrunk.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/12/Brett-Lawrie-10.jpg (^^^An actual picture from his Facebook page...) http://www.millerparkdrunk.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/12/Brett-Lawrie-9.jpg

I understand Ron's thinking - he wanted Rivera for an extra-base hit or HR, but went with YuniB for just any hit since the runner was on second. The hole in his logic is that Yuni is hitting .220...

Gomez is a professional outfielder. He is the exact opposite baseball player from Mark Kotsay

Well I put money down tonight on the Brewers to win, the Brewers to score over 3.5 runs, and the game to have over 7 runs total tonight. Call it blind faith (because after that road trip, that's exactly what it is), but I have a feeling our offense is going to erupt and we'll have a fun Greinke welcome in Milwaukee.

Mobile Phone Internet Connectivity at Miller Park
Tailgat0r76 replied to jjkoestler's topic in Off-Topic Forum
Yeah, I was wondering the same thin at Sunday's game. I have Sprint and seemed to have full bars the whole game but was struggling to do anything on my phone. -
With a force at home and a batter who is not as good at bunting as suggested? No thanks

Man Lucroy is just insane right now. Let's hope this keeps up for another 138 games or so! Good to see Counsell jump on a first pitch too. Would love to see a hit from Weeks or Gomez to send it to the Ax Man!
-
Looks True Wow; this is amazing. Glad to have Braunie for the foreseeable future!

Man, Gomez has really had some tough luck so far. I really don't think he's been that disastrous at the plate so far this year - a couple of his line-drives fall and he's having a decent start to the year.

No matter how this AB ends; this is a helluva AB by McGehee. Encouraging Edit: And the BB. Very nice Casey

My brother in Madison told me this morning that "Extra" is slated to show the game tonight in Madison. It's also showing up on Charter here in La Crosse. I don't think I could have taken 3 straight days without watching Brewers baseball, so I'm pretty pumped Charter stepped up here.

C'mon Loe! Bail out your skipper here...

For those of us that aren't lucky enough to have the fantastic WMLW feed; can someone let us know when/if Axford's warming/coming in?
-
Must be nice to have a bottom of an order that can hit
-
Marcum isn't getting any of these calls. This is ridiculous.
-
Does this ump know how to call a strike? Wood got a huge zone and now Marcum get's nothing
-
Did Suppan really just 3-pitch inning us? Or is Gameday not showing ball and strikes and just the end result? Edit: Looks like they're just showing the impact pitches

McCalvy also has his own take on the interview One of my favorite quotes was: "As for picking his spots to talk to reporters, he said, “Probably 99% of the time I do it like this is because every day I come to the park and want to get focused on my start, and then random people come and waste my time talking every day. It takes eight minutes to get a real question out because they’re like buttering me up. Then they get to the question and it’s a stupid question. So it’s a waste of 10 minutes, and in that 10-minute time I don’t get to do what I needed to do."

I have also used gomusicnow.com for a while now. I'm not certain the legalities around it, but I can say it's a great site with a very decent collection of music. I wouldn't put more than $10 - $20 in your account at any time, just in case, but it serves its purpose great for getting cheap music. FYI, gomusicnow.com used to be gomusicnow.ru, which used to be just gomusic.ru.

My father works with Mr. Kilar and I can tell you Prince has already gotten involved. For one, he personally sent flowers to the funeral; and there is also an auction that's going to be held at Miller Park and he's vowed to donate a bunch of stuff to get auctioned off.

Prince Fielder on MTV's "Cribs"?
Tailgat0r76 replied to BrewCrewForever's topic in Milwaukee Brewers Talk
I caught this as well the other day. Prince's house is realll nice as expected. Along with the urinal, he's got an elevator in the house. -

I like the fact that he averages 6.1 IP/games started. It's nice to finally have a pitcher that hopefully won't tax our bullpen to the extreme.

Water (better yet, distilled) with a microfiber is indeed your best bet. Whatever you do, never use Windex or other glass cleaners on an LCD, or even more importantly, Plasma screen ever.
