I'm hoping some of the smart people at Brewerfan.net can help me with this issue. I purchased a new laptop about 2 weeks ago. Other than the fact that it's faster, newer, etc. the only difference from my old one is that the new one has Windows 7 (vs Windows XP on my old one). I have been noticing that I'm having trouble opening PDF files in my browser. The browser I use is IE8. I have downloaded Firefox and I am having the same issues with that browser. Basically the browser attempts to open the file for about 3 or 4 minutes (I can not close the page while it is doing this) and then a window pops up with this message: "There is a problem with Adobe/Acrobat reader. Please exit Adobe/Acrobat reader and try again." I then realized that this is happening with PDF files on sites that I have previously opened. So, I can open the PDF once, but if I go back to the site and try to open it again I can't. I then realized that if I go into internet tools and delete my temporary files, cookies, and history I can open the file again. However, it's a pain in the butt to do this every time I want to open the same PDF. Any help would be greatly appreciated! edit: I also downloaded the latest version of Adobe (9.3) and that did not solve the issue.
