  1. Just got off the phone with the sales rep for Stich N Pitch, I was able to order all my tickets together. He said some of the fees were waved, but not all of them. My order came out to 156.50 for three games (148 face value), I only ended up spending about an extra buck-fifty a ticket doing it this way. A few things if you haven't got your tickets, best seats left are in 433 third base side, 412 first base side for the Lucroy and Ghostbusters game. Not sure where I'm at for Stitch N Pitch. I asked him if he knew who would be on the Ghostbusters bobble yet and he didn't know. I opted to not give him ideas to pass along.
  2. Can I just rant for a moment. I tried to call the box office today about all these new bobbles, and they told me it was set up to go online. So I already had tickets for the Gorman Thomas bobble, but still needed to get the Superhero night, Ghostbusters night, and Stitch N Pitch night. Tickets for these games are already set at marquee prices which is fine. But then there's the "convenience" fees and then a processing fee, and an additional mailing fee. The site will not let you combine all three. So the website wants $19.50 for convenience fees total, $6 for processing fees total, and then it'll cost em $6 to mail three seperate packages. Just like that it's easy to throw $30 out the window for something that they wouldn't let me do over the phone...HOW CONVENIENT. I cancelled all these orders when I realized i was gonna get hosed around, I'll call them tomorrow and get it done over the phone with the rep handling the Stitch N Pitch game. So frustrating though. Convenience fees should either A) Be added into ticket prices so I have no idea that I'm paying them or B) Be illegal, since stealing is illegal.
  3. Assuming that there is no other bobble to give, unless it goes to players, I'm not sure if there is any other options left for next year. I wonder if they are trying to milk this series for all its worth and save the brat for last to keep reeling people in. That being said, next year will probably be Bonnie Brewer.
  4. LOLZ. The Brat still doesn't get his due. With three giveaways between June 9th and June 12th, that homestand will surely be the highest attendance period of the season.
  5. Cool. I added the prices in. Counsell played for the Sky Sox from 95-97. I didn't know that, kinda cool how it wrapped around full circle, and in the end makes sense for him having a bobble. Based on the picture it looks like he's got the bat up high too, I can dig that.
  6. Added em, thanks. What do they sell for on average? I'll need to pick these up.
  7. I'd rather see Peralta over Garza. I wouldn't wanna see Yount, Molitor, Aaron, and Fingers, but they are the 4 guys with retired numbers, and it fits the mold of demographically of the original Ghostbusters
  8. I'm curious about this Ghostbusters bobblehead. There's gonna be four Brewers. Will they dare try to create a bobble that consists of something like Braun, Nelson, Garza, and Scooter or will they play it safe with Yount, Molitor, Fingers, and Aaron?
  9. I am guessing they didn't have any last year since so many of their games were on the road, but I could be wrong. Please let me know.
  10. Thanks, I tried looking to see if they had promotions last year and never really found anything. I might have looked too early though. Do you know the dates on these? I'll add them to the list.
  11. I'll throw in my two cents here since I am no longer a season ticket holder: I'd just call your rep and see about an upgrade or exchange for those sections. Tell them you pick out those 20 games for a reason and aren't interested in looking into another game. Ticket reps are really good about that kinda thing, I think they will work with you. Lookin forward to the Ghostbusters bobble, but as mentioned by others, these theme nights are a bit much.
  12. Nice, maybe that means I'll get my 25th anniversary card back soon. Just hope it makes it to my new address through forwarding...
  13. That's a great point Bork. I don't think many people look at that aspect of it.
  14. This is a pretty good read from Yahoo Sports: http://www.beyondtheboxscore.com/2016/2/1/10838728/trade-retrospective-zack-greinke-royals-lorenzo-cain-alcides-escobar-brewers At the time I was excited out of my mind. I'm happy for Kansas City's success, and while it eventually worked out in KC's favor, if it was 2010 again I'd have no problem with Melvin making that trade again.
  15. I walked away with signed balls from Davies, Villar, Ken Sanders, Paul Wagner, and Larry Hisle (finally). Got cards signed from Broxton, Santanta, Barrios, Agustine, and August. I could've got plenty more, but I wanna see something outta a lot of these guys, and if needed I can get em next year. I won the lotto for Uecker, but he was only signing cards. Wanted to get his book "Catcher in the Wry" (on hardcover) signed, but I didn't bother asking if he'd make an exception. (Though my wife and others later told me "Authors love to sign their books"), so I'll mail it to him in April. I also bought a 42 jersey signed by Thornburg (who was really the only player I could make out their sig, tho not the greatest option, just wanted a Jackie Robinson Day jersey), and a Segura SSH bobble. All in all I had a good day though certainly not my best On Deck with Arcia backing out and Garza not signing at any stage. Was hoping to catch Stearns, but didn't. How'd you guys do?
  16. Those ARE real numbers, now if they had 72i or 77i, that would be incredible!!! #MathTeacher I meant they are not the real numbers they will have in their career. When they come up for good they will get lower numbers. I know what you meant. I'm just messin around.
  17. I'd guess that on Sunday a lot of these guys will have new numbers assigned as they wear their jerseys during On Deck
  18. Those ARE real numbers, now if they had 72i or 77i, that would be incredible!!! #MathTeacher
  19. I think I would become a Tigers fan. My uncle lives in Michigan and he's a Tigers fan, so I'd probably end up cheering for them. If not the Tigers, the Twins.
  20. This guy here is dead!
  21. Its funny you say that. I always take those numbers and some combination of Braun, Aaron Rodgers, and my birthday (2/7 or 27). Last night I took the quick picks or I coulda won a million dollars! (To be fair though I'm sure I woulda picked Rodgers and not 8 or 27, still woulda been worth a crisp Benji)
  22. I've been hearing ads that LOTF now owns a pool table/rec games store called Master Z's that features bobbleheads. On the ad they keep talking about selling bobbles. I figured they were just selling SGA's or other retail ones, but it appears they may be making their own? They sent me an invite to a bobblehead party with a "LOTF Exclusive" JJ Watt Rose Bowl bobble. It's $25 a ticket. Seems silly. Does anyone have an inside scoop on this? Seems like they are about 8 years late on this idea, but whatever. Just curious. For those those interested there is a Bobblehead party... Thursday January 14th 2016 5:30 - 7:30 pm Exclusive Bobblehead Preview Party RedLine Milwaukee 1422 North 4th Street, Milwaukee, WI 53212 Pat McCurdy will be there to play a bobblehead song.
  23. And for those wondering for future refernce, it's always the Sunday before the Super Bowl.
