    bani, you shoulda said something sooner! checking out jersey101, they've got an enormous selection, and a lot of the stuff I was lookin for initially as far as throwback football and baseball jerseys...i might be willing to coordinate something through them in the near future...but i'll make an announcement first to avoid a lot of inboxing for no reason. still, thanks houlie for all your efforts, still lookin forward to my yount jersey!

    ya that sucks, I started out ordering 11 jerseys, now I'm hoping to get 5. total bummer, mostly cuz 3 of the 4 i wanted aren't available. so all of the jerseys will be re-pressed, or just some and we'll find out in awhile what's goin on? can you paypal me the difference, i dont need to see the excel sheet. thanks.

    I understand that Braun wants to be a business man and invest his money wisely, but I hope he doesn't overboard with his money. 90 dollar t-shirts and fine dining are two things most people don't go after when the economy is how it is. Granted it seems to be picking up, and who knows how much he actually put in, but if every 6 months theres a new story about Braun doing something businesslike, it could come back to bite him. Just a thought.

    BHF, do you have insurance on yer credit cards or bank accounts? on my credit card they charge me something like 1 buck for every 100 i spend, which you never notice when you get your bill anyway...my bank account has some similar deal, it's really cheap. I actually had my identity stolen with my bank account, and they had sent me a new card and replaced everything that was wiped out before i even knew it happened. good luck with it

    what is the value difference on those matt? I knew there was Saz's ones, but since I've never had the opportunity to get anything like that, I never bothered investigating it.

    I'm not paying $75+ on some silly t-shirt to get Brauny's auto. I was gonna ask my sister to get one, but I doubt she could get one to be worth it.

    Thanks for the help guys! We'll see what he is in the mood for, but what kid (and most adults) don't want pizza? That stonefire place sounds pretty good. We'll look into it. If anyone else has any suggestions, please, keep them coming.

    My girlfriend and I are watching her 2nd grade brother, and plan on taking him out to eat, as he doesn't get to do that much...but whats a good place with a good menu that will have an environment he'll enjoy? We figure Applebee's is a safe bet, but we don't really like eating at chains. Any tips? Thanks!

    TN, I got it in Riverwest at this corner store called Sunrise Foods. They have it as their weekly special 4 bucks a 6 pack! I got a case. Heh.

    I was going to put this in the beer thread, but I think it deserves it's own thread (if you wanna move it, go ahead)... Has anyone tried this yet? I like it a lot. It's made (with Milwaukee grain) by the Choc Brewering company out of Oklahoma. Just thought I'd post it for something to look for next time yer at the beer store! www.spahnie363.com

    i went to one once, and it was pretty much stated as above...i ended up buying a buncha $5 dvds (of good movies, but probably not "must haves") to feel like i made out alright on the 5 dollar door charge

    Yah, I bid on one and missed out that went for about 150...a few weeks prior it was at 110....last one I saw I kicked myself I didn't look because the listing was completed and it was at 67. None of these included shipping, but 67? Man.

    Does anyone have a list of which minor league bobbles came with actual printed boxes? I know a lot of those are in white, but I know the Huntsville Braun had a printed box, yet when I bought mine from the Stars at the On Deck last year it was in a white box. Not a big deal to me, but im curious how much that makes a difference in value, and ebaying.

    If she went with her brother only, who cares? My friends and I rode our bikes to games when we were 12. I don't think for a second that it was irresponsible for her parents to let her and her 15 year old brother go to a game on their own. Back to what this thread is really about, I'd imagine the ball is worth about 10 grand, but it could easily be worth more if he gets to 500. Good point on the Phillies changing the ball, they stamped it and everything. It could very easily be a BP ball, though I'd like to think the Phillies aren't that dishonest.

    I personally put all the blame on the Marlins. If they had figured out a way to have better attendance, there's no way some 12 year old girl woulda ever caught it, and all this could've been avoided.

    My old band, The Motorcycle Prom Dates beat out Heathrow in the UWM battle of the bands in 2003. I've also seen free copies of the saltshakers album at the laundry mat on Prospect, incase you don't go to the show.
