  1. The warning track wasn't coined to let outfielders know where they are, but so the wall can prepare for Bill Hall The only reason there is an off season is because Bill Hall wanted others to regain confidence
  2. Bill Hall doesn't wait for his pitch, he waits for the ball to give up avoidin him Bill Hall wears number 2 because number 1 is too cocky Bill Hall created get away days so other pitchers can get some hope back No one is responsible for opening or closing the Keg anymore, Bill Hall does it all with his mind
  3. C'mon Brady, we're rooting for ya to get back on track, and now would be the perfect time to groove one. Edit: Typical.
  4. The Fresh Prince of Milwaukee steals a bag! I love this kid.
  5. Sharpie at 77 pitches through 4. Let's hope he can get a couple quick innings and make it through 7.
  6. Hall batting in the two spot...I'd still like to see him get a chance to lead off to see what he can do. Time for work. Go get em Crew!!
  7. Player of the game? Ohka, Jenkins, or Lee would be the obvious choices. I'm giving it to Ohka, only one mistake all night. What is the deal with the kazoos? I asked earlier, but I didnt read through the entire thread cuz I was watching the game and didnt wanna run to my computer between innings.
  8. Ohka's last four starts Date OPP W L SV IP ER BBA SO 04/05 PIT 0 0 0 7.0 1 1 2 04/10 STL 0 1 0 4.0 4 4 2 04/15 NYM 1 0 0 7.0 1 2 5 04/20 CIN 0 0 0 4.0 4 4 3 See a pattern? Hopefully this continues tonight. I've been at the home games that Ohka has started at home and listened to the other two starts on the radio, so I am clueless to this kazoo talk that Darron Sutton brought up, anyone want to enlighten me?
  9. I need a drink. See ya at the bars.
  10. NO NO NO NO NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!! JENKINS IS RED HOT!!!!!!!!!!!
  11. 8 guys stranded in 3 innings, awful. It's no wonder that our pitchers can be lights out and not get wins.
  12. GUH!!!!!!!!!!! I heard this on AM 1250 on the way home, they weren't sure about it, racing home to know my guys a Brewerfan would....I'm not a praying man, but if you're listening, please save us Superman
  13. Great thread to waste some time, especially since these predictions are difficult to make and take some thinking 2006 Milwaukee Brewer Pre-season predictions Team Record 2006 Record: 89-73 2006 Predicted Finish within the NL Central: Second 2006 Playoff Predictions: Wild Card Offense- Individual Team Leaders with 502 PA Batting Average: Clark .307 OBP: Weeks .390 SLG: Lee .590 OPS: Weeks .948 BB: Hardy 74 2b: Hardy 39 3b: Hall 5 HR: Lee 41 RBI: Lee 128 K: Fielder 149 SB: Weeks 28 Pitching- Individual Team Leaders Wins: Sheets 21 Losses: Bush 13 Saves: Turnbow 45 WHIP: Sheets 1.08 IP: Davis 225.0 K: Sheets 271 BB: Davis 92 K/9: Turnbow 9.5 BB/9: Sheets 1.48 OppOPS: Sheets 619 ERA (among starters): Sheets 2.47 ERA (among relievers): Turnbow 1.80 Appearances: Kolb 68 Team Awards Offensive MVP: Lee Team Cy Young: Sheets Most Valuable New Addition: Koskie Minor Leagues Awards Minor League Offensive MVP: Ryan Braun Minor League Cy Young: Will Inman Misc First player not on opening day roster recalled from Minors: Dana Eveland First player on 25 man roster removed (via waivers, trade or optioned): Jorge De La Rosa First Player on the DL: Jeff Cirillo League Awards AL MVP: Manny Rameriz, Red Sox NL MVP: Albert Pujols, Cardinals AL Cy Young: Johan Santana, Twins NL Cy Young: Mark Mulder, Cardinals AL ROY: Felix Hernandez, Mariners (Unless he got too many innings last year) NL ROY: Prince Fielder, Brewers Post Season AL Champs: New York Yankees NL Champs: St. Louis Cardinals WS Champs: St. Louis Cardinals Comments I personally don't wanna see either of those teams in the world series, I'd love to see the Indians, but I dont know if they can pull it off, October is only 9 months away
  14. I voted no, because of the roid usage. I hate the fact that voters are saying "I'll vote for him the second time, but he's not first ballot." Who cares if he's first ballot or 13th if he's in? People don't care about that kinda crap 30 years from now. The fact is, he's in, and he cheated majority of his career (if not all of it).
  15. LEHR! LET'S GET SOME RUNS!!!! This is my last game post for the year, it's a sad day in Camp Corey
  16. tie game did anyone hear Schroeder talking about going after Garciaparra and keeping Hall as a "supersub?" I dunno about all that.
  17. What a great game, I closed out the season with two of my great friends that I always open it with. But it was a pretty bittersweet day in our camp, we were jacked cuz of the win, but when we went out to grill after the game, we realized we wont be at the Keg again till april 3rd...goin to 32 games this year, i dunno what im gonna do with myself for a few months.....maybe we can get FSN to televise AFL and Mexican Winter League!!!
  18. Magic Number: 3 (or for some of you, 4)
  19. I was at the game, it wasn't a beauty by anymeans, but nice to see the Crew win....I really hope this knocks Carp outta the ERA race and helps the D-Train get the Cy Young....he's much more deserving!!!
  20. Drew Olsen woulda loved that!!!! I woulda loved it too.
  21. That honestly coulda been the best baseball game i've ever seen at a stadium (competing with Wood Vs Clemens at Wrigley)....Surrounded by Cubs fans, I was happy as all get out to shut them down (saying things that won't fly on this board).... I really want Cirillo to be on our team next year, and I've been saying that since before tonight....Turnbow blew his first save since Aug 2, and we still got the win. Just shutting down the Cubs with a lot of their fans there was great....I showed up in the 3rd inning (had to work till 7), and thought I'd be thrown out by the 4th cuz I was immediately talkin smack to all of em around me....When Prior came out, I was jacked that he was goin on 80 pitches within 4 innings, so obviously we were battling out there from the get go, impressive against a guy of that calliber I had to hit the taverns, and even did Kereokee tonight to celebrate the win....woooooo boy, I can't get over this....let's get em in game 3!!!! PS Nice job by the Indians who again beat the Sox...awesome!!!
  22. Cruz got robbed like no tomorrow...Web Gem
