I'm hoping they pitch Cappy on 3 days rest if he's got a shot for 20 wins at that point. This game is over, I'm officially walking away. I shouldn't start game threads, we seem to always lose, bah.

Anyone watchin the game on mlb.tv think that globe game was even easier than the ball in the hat game at the Keg? Silly.

Wes Obermueller (1-3, 4.65 ERA) http://img251.imageshack.us/img251/8155/wes12ck.jpg Brandon Backe (8-8 5.00 ERA) http://img251.imageshack.us/img251/3425/20041018backe7lu.jpg The Crew tries to get back to .500 after a tough loss last night at Minute Maid Park. In Obermueller's last start on September 3rd he went 4.1 innings and gave up 5 earned runs. His last outing on September 10th he came out of relief for 4 solid innings giving up 4 hits and no runs. In Backe's last start on September 12th he went 5 innings giving up 7 hits, 4 runs (3 earned). Should be a pretty good offensive battle, let's hope Lidge is worn out from last night.

im too drunk to read things, but I woulda put Turnbow in at the beginning of the 9th...worry about the save opportunity later...they had JDLR warmin up in the pen...that is not necessary...Turnbow is the guy you want dealing out there, worry about the save later...I like Eveland, and he shoulda been used at some point in this game, but this is a team that's looking to play spoiler, and there is no reason our best reliever should be on the bench in the bottom of the 9th with a tie game

i really didn't wanna see lidge in the 8th...we gotta take this to extra innings, or it wont be good

AWESOME!!!! game tonight, I just got home...I really was thinking the Brewers have been inconsistent as a team lately, and we could really see a 15K, 1 hit gem from clemens tonight....WRONG!!! To knock out one of the best pitchers in the game (even ever!) after the 3rd inning was huge...JJ's homerun gave me goosebumps, I really didn't like this guy at the beginning of the season, and the girl I was dating loved him...I used to make fun of her for it a lot, now I'm starting to eat my words...this kid will be a stud... On a sidenote, awhile back some people said Rickie Weeks was kinda jerky, tonight he was signing before the game, and even though each player is spose to sign only one thing, he gladly signed my team ball, and another ball, on the sweet spot with his number...there was a ridiculous line for him too, and had he said no to signing the second ball, i'd understand...total class act, and I hope that experience in itself will end any discussion of this kid's attitude, he loves the fans. Hope we can deal Pettitte and Oswalt out in 3 rounds over the weekend, predicting a sweep against 3 awesome pitchers is a stretch, but if we can pound the Rocket, we can beat these other two...here's to an exciting weekend of Brewer Baseball!!!

if only we could find ways to spread out our runs a bit more...i'd gladly take 3 of these runs to boost last nights score...4 homers today for the crew, wow.

The Iceman makes you wanna buy drinks...that guy it down to a science...last time I saw him his voice was pretty shot from yelling all season It's a BEAUTIFUL night to be at the Keg, I'll be there, let's hope Cappy can get his 15th win
  13. Bikeage77
This is my first game thread, let's hope we can get Davis to his 10th win, and sweep the Bucs in games we really have to win to compete for .500. Doug Davis: 9-9 4.03 ERA Paul Maholm: 0-0 -.-- ERA
