I don’t know……haven’t read one. All I know is they seem to make right decision after right decision…….and when it seems like one of their decisions might not be what they thought ( Weeks being manager in waiting) they pivot and course correct.

I don’t feel sorry for him but I’m not mad at him like CC. He’s from NY…..grew up a Mets fan…….few would turn down that opportunity in his position. With that being said…… We lost Jack Zduriencik…….tragically lost Bruce Seid……promoted Ray Montgomery…..lost him to the Angels…….promoted Todd Johnson Now have number 1 system in baseball and probably the best system in Brewers history. We lost Derek Johnson……people were worried and mad. They promoted Hook and we got better. We lost Stearns…….promoted Arnold and got better. We lost CC…..promoted Murph and got better. I mean talk about a well oiled machine…….it really is unbelievable.

Don’t forget Kyle Lohse…….he negotiated that deal himself as I recall. That’s a great point..,,,,…..he was too hands on early……which is how many/most owners operate…….now he has the final say but obviously lets Arnold and his team drive the bus. credit to Mark

Yeah……and as much fans hate to admit it…….it all starts with an owner who knows what he’s doing…….especially in the smallest market in the majors.

It’s almost like the Brewers are playing chess and the Bucks checkers……..you can’t let one player dictate how you run the organization………no matter how great that player is…….,we saw the result.

ditto……I know the Bucks won a championship but all you have to do is read the J/S article about how it all fell apart the last 4 years to appreciate an ownership group and front office like the Brewers that has a plan……continues to execute it year after year……and knows how important structure, culture and continuity is. No chaos……no panic….no losing sight of what makes them successful. No drama

Doesn’t seem likely to me that they will send Sproat down…….they seem pretty committed to developing him up here. If/when Henderson is ready I would assume Gasser goes back down but we have some time before that decision has to be made. -

Murphy said today that Koenig will be back very soon……it will be interesting to see what they do……..my guess is Yoho goes for him but if Sproat gets bombed tonight who knows. -
