  1. 210 million for Dylan Cease…….
  2. Who says crime doesn’t pay?
  3. My guess is Woody’s agent was well aware of the market before he accepted the Brewers offer……..I mean it’s what agents are paid for. Maybe Boston was worried about Woodys health…..or Woody decided that for a 1 year deal for similar money he’d rather stay with the brewers.
  4. Cards sending 20 million in the deal
  5. Man that’s a lot of money
  6. If Skubal is traded it isn’t going to be to the Brewers……we all know this…..there will be a bidding war with big market teams who think they can keep him.
  7. Reports are that Quero is struggling to throw the ball still since the surgery…….hopefully the arm strength returns but the baseball America and fan graph guys were underwhelmed with what they saw.
  8. I don’t think you are going to see Made in 2026……by all accounts he still has a ways to go defensively. He is still 18 years old………won’t turn 19 until May………it’s going to be Joey or somebody else next season……not Made.
  9. Yeah……if they can get a superstar bat cheap they’d probably be interested…..lol Now back to reality…….guys that can’t run……are marginal offensive players and have no position versatility are not likely guys the brewers are going to have much interest in going forward…….ie Vogelbach.
  10. I almost didn’t post it since it’s click bait but thought you guys would get a kick out of the Cubs being included on this lengthy list……..
  11. Vogelback types are no longer Brewers types……..they want guys who can defend and run at least a little. They took a shot with Hoskins because of his history as a hitter even though he couldn’t run…….but Guys like Vogelbach( dh only) and Rowdy don’t really fit as a platoon left handed option anymore ……no defensive versatility.
  12. Hey Rob……..how about a ghost hitter? Once or twice a game……..that’s all we’re asking!
  13. Keep up the good fight Joey
  14. And one of the more popular players for many of us in the last 20 years. Brewers obviously believe the shoulder is fine……no guarantees for any pitcher but I’m glad to have him back……and I trust Arnold and his staff.
  15. damn hitting has been the weakness for years 3rd in all of baseball in runs scored last season.
