    This is the first time I’m hearing that he “ over ruled the front office “ on those contracts. I had heard about Kyle Lohse. So just to be clear …….he’s so cheap that he over ruled the front office to sign 2 of the biggest stars in franchise history to long term big money extensions? 🤔 Listen…….you can say those contracts were in retrospect a mistake……..there is an argument to make on that……..but at the time they were signed Brewers fans were ecstatic…….we were able to keep 2 huge stars that wanted to stay.. Second guessing now is weak sauce. Owners( other than Steve Cohen) operate within the revenues of their business……..Brewers are the smallest market and never have the smallest payroll……he is not cheap…….he is smart. Most importantly he has been able to set up an organization that consistently wins in an en environment that doesn’t favor success for small market teams.

    Cubs apparently got screwed out of scoring the tying run in the 8th on a missed balk call……,..that really is a shame.

    People have talked a lot about the struggles of Yelich and Contreras…….understandably so…….but Turang has his own slump going right now…….hasn’t hit a home run in August…….and OPSing .520 in his last 18 games. Need to get him going again.
