I wouldn’t assume that about Yelich……i think he gets most of his at bats as a left fielder…….but we will see how the roster is filled out.

They wanted to clear the money so they could use it someplace else…..and get a player they liked. It’s not that complicated.

My educated guess is Arnold talked to numerous teams( because he would want to gauge market and get the best return possible) and if there was an offer out there like you suggest he would have made that trade.

Too bad so sad? Wow that’s a good one. With this attitude you can’t actually be a Brewers fan who wants them to have the best chance of winning. But if I’m a dodgers fan……Go Dodgers! Sign 2 or 3 more big money guys this offseason with that money that you don’t have to pay out for 10-20 years!

I’m not holding it against him…..but for competitive balance purposes it’s not good for the most of the rest of the teams who are already trying to compete with the Dodgers with vastly different revenue streams. This kind of deal only makes that more difficult…….which isn’t in the best interest of the game.
