Owners wanted to collectively bargain to get rid of arby…..players union said no…….so as much as they don’t like it( when they lose ) they don’t want to change it. I don’t really blame Hader…..but it is pretty rich that when he was traded he talked about how nice it was going to be to go to a team that was focused on winning it all and not just making the playoffs……when he knew full well he wasn’t really committed to winning it all but more so staying healthy so he could get a big contract. Remember CC Sabathia? Traded to the Brewers….no history here……yet pitched on short rest even though he had a life altering pay day at stake.

According to the guys on that podcast Hall made some mechanical changes mid season and over his last 13(?) appearances or so had an excellent strikeout to walk ratio…….i guess we will see. I’m starting to get some Packer vibes with the Brewers now…..letting the young guys grow together……probably be some real rough patches but exciting growth as the season goes on.

We also have 15 million to spend…….if they choose to do it? riddle me this……if they didn’t plan to compete this season why spend that money on Hoskins for what is likely to be a 1 year deal?

We will see……I expect him to start out in the minors but you could be right.

I think after how Ashby pitched last year after his return they are going to want to see him pitch effectively in the minors before they hand him a rotation slot of any kind…….need to see his velocity back as well.
