I still wish we had 1 more good/decent right handed hitter. Sal is really struggling now……against a lefty in post season if you play Taylor, Yelich and Canha in the out field you are short right handed DH. if you DH Canha then you have to play Sal, Perkins or possibly Mitchell( they have said his role will be minimal so I doubt it) …….other option is to DH Donaldson but then Turang has to play which obviously isn’t good. Anyway…..glad to have Garrett back -

We have found a situation that is low leverage enough to take another look at Small!

The only thing that is odd about that though is he’s been pitching on mostly 5 days rest……..all of them have…….id almost prefer Burnes pitch tonight for 4 or 5 innings and then have him with 5 days rest for Tuesday……ditto for Woody and Freddy.

So are we assuming that Burnes(for sure) along with Woody and Freddy are done pitching until the playoffs? It’s kind of an interesting choice. Devin needs to pitch at least once or twice more imo……he hasn’t been used in awhile.

Kind of ironic that defense was the key to the clincher…….it just wasn’t the Brewers defense this time………. A championship season…….congrats to the Crew!
