  1. The tacky ball is now gone in the Southern league…….something to monitor going forward for our hitters……and pitchers I guess.
  2. Elvis entered the building with the good stuff
  3. So I guess we should have sent Miller with no outs…….sigh
  4. It was great to see Burnes use the whole arsenal and not just the cutter
  5. Because guys aren’t putting the ball in play…….at least that is tonight’s reason……..other days he has struggled with command…..
  6. What a dominant 6 innings by Burnes……wow
  7. Burnes curveball greater then De La Cruz tonight……
  8. 40 pitches for Ashcraft through 4.’…..not good
  9. Opposite field homer for Black…….can we get the guy to Nashville already?
  10. He had a shot if the throw was offline……it wasn’t…… it’s easy to coach from the couch after the fact……..we are never wrong with that advantage.
  11. No it’s not…….the odds favor sending him……sometimes the defense just makes a play…….every 3rd base coach would do the same with 2 outs and an elite guy running. ps if he was held everyone would have been screaming…..” what are you doing!”
  12. That is a send 100% of the time with 2 outs and Wiemer running.
  13. Brian Anderson out with lower back discomfort
  14. Taylor does indeed get the call
  15. It’s how many draft picks made the majors……no matter who they made it with. So basically it is a report card on each teams hit rate…….now getting to the majors isn’t the be all end all in evaluation…….if you hit on fewer but had more star type players I could easily argue that is more valuable…….but the bottom line is the Brewers draft choices have not been getting to the majors nearly as often as the better drafting teams……whether it was with the brewers or anyone else.
  16. After the hot first 2 months of the season the Brewers were remarkably consistent before and after the Hader trade. June 12-15 July 13-11 August 12-15 Sept 15-13 Oct 2-3 id do that trade again 100 times out of a hundred……I’m not convinced we would have made the playoffs with him…..and if we did it would have been a very short stay IMO
