    I’m not superstitious…..but if a Brewers fan thinks they are a jinx ……then I’m all in favor of them taking one for the team and not watching.

    I wouldn’t have traded both of them in a package for him……I’m ok with not getting him. don’t like acquiring a guy for a heavy prospect package like that and then after the season what do you do? Try to trade him again and recoup some of it or ride it out and lose him for a comp pick? Would love to have him but obviously the Mets wanted more then we…..or anyone else would give. ps Black just hit a homer……😎

    I wonder if they have any thoughts of reinstating Winker on September 1? Do they have to wait until he is done with rehab to DFA him? I guess we could read into the fact that he is rehabbing in High A instead of Nashville that he isn’t in the plans……

    I’d stick with Elvis……..he’s had some hiccups but I still trust him more then the other guys…….with possible exception of Hoby. Hoby and Uribe will also get high leverage opportunities…….as they should. We are going to need them all.

    I get the reasoning……. just sucks for the team to lose a year of cheap service time……which obviously hurts smaller market teams more….. So for the player its good…….for the team not so much…..not anybody’s fault……just the way it is.

    Hey guys….question With Mitchell only playing a few games then going in the 60 day IL for what looks like the rest of the year……..does this still count as a year of service time with him for the Brewers? It hardly seems right for that to be the case but I have no idea how that works.
