Not just a season high… ..most in club history I believe.

He has a 2.14 era in the 2nd half of the season. Anybody can get hit but he’s been very good for a long time now……he’s going to get high leverage chances along with Abner and Ashby…..especially if Trevor can’t go. You need 3 or 4 guys to take one inning in the playoffs…….i cant come up with 4 I’d rather throw out there even if TM is healthy. Especially against lefty heavy windows like the Phillies have.

I have no idea what their plans are for Gasser but it doesn’t appear he is starting on September 21

They basically said is they have managed his workload in a way with the post season in mind. I don’t know what their plans are for him but my understanding is they aren’t going to shut him down because of innings limit. Murphy certainly suggested that they had a handle on it……..now obviously he needs to pitch well enough for them to trust him.

He has to pitch……nobody likes it but you have to give him some work. He needs it to stay sharp.

Think the approach was fine……he just didn’t execute……it happens. and to be fair……the Strike out was on a perfect pitch that could have been called a ball just as easily.

I think they want the better defender in cf with fly ball pitchers on the mound. Chourio seems much more comfortable in left. If Collin’s isn’t in there tomorrow then we can start wondering ps also note that Mona is playing tonight which undoubtedly is trying to upgrade offensively with a fly ball pitcher on the mound.
