Man the Phillies have some serious arms in the pen.
-
I think I’d pass on my AB against this guy
-
Box back in the saddle……..good for him or he might not have made the post season roster……
-
Both Bix and Devin coming off bad outings………time to settle in and throw some zeros.
-
He wasn’t sharp but only 1 of those runs was earned……the Harper homer.
-
Velocity was down for Freddy in his last inning
-
Defense hasn’t helped either
-
Freddy’s breaking ball just isn’t there. Fastball location not good either
-
Good to have Wong back
-
Both Garcia and Omar were terrible last season and now are valuable pieces. Bradley has been horrible but assuming he picks up his option I’m sure the Brewers will try to see if he can right the ship next season.

willy adames to injured list; activated 20 september
markedman5 replied to djoctagone's topic in Milwaukee Brewers Talk
Willy Adames has been working hard in the gym since going on the IL with a quad injury but concedes he might not be back to 100 percent healthy until the offseason. "Hopefully by the time I have to come back I’m at least 95 percent and I’ll be good for the playoffs." -
I wonder if we might see Ashby piggyback with Freddy again tonight? Might depend how Freddy pitches but after only going 2 innings in his last start they might want to limit him to 4 or 5 max tonight. Good chance that Hader and Devin pitch tonight even in non save situation considering the off day tomorrow.

Good to see Garcia finish the game…….he must be feeling ok. Great win!
-
Hader has had a nice vacation in the middle of the season
-
Nice at bat again for Yelich
-
Vogelbach in no mans land…..cost Escobar a hit…..lol
-
This shows that Stearns is a genius. Or the pitching coach. Since Stearns decided to promote Hook he gets credit there too
-
Ok so looks like Strickland……..take the rest of the night off Eric…….you earned it.

Lauer might get the 8th now
