  1. I will be surprised if Jett isn’t in the bigs opening day or at the very least early in the season……
  2. Yeah if you see gloom and doom in every quote……you certainly can. i swear people just look for things to be mad about.
  3. We are still getting contributions from those guys long after Burnes is gone and injured after his huge contract. i don’t view either guy as a bust…..Joey is a great defender who didn’t hit last season…..Hall has been injured but still shows potential and is under control for a few more seasons.
  4. I’m not at all concerned about our pitching depth……..guys will get hurt from time to time ……but we have lots of guys…….Myers wasn’t going to be a starter for us next season unless things went terribly wrong…..and if that happens Myers wasn’t going to fix that. Arnold said tonight they wouldn’t have traded Freddy if they weren’t confident in Woody next season……..
  5. If Freddy’s era matched his FIP last season the trade might be more acceptable to some……..I trust Arnold……he has certainly earned it.
  6. Jett could also be a platoon option with Mitchell in center……..
  7. Top 30 prospect and a high quality pitching prospect for 1 year of Freddy seems fair………I don’t view the Myers inclusion as anything that significant.
  8. Freddy won’t turn 30 until June…..so a 5 year deal would take him through age 35 so not late 30s. Still not sure Brewers would do it but as KC points out there are all kind of possible outcomes after a lockout. In the NBA now they have a maximum length on contracts for example.
  9. If Brewers fans are “ initially disappointed “ in that return then the trade would probably work out very well for us……🤷‍♂️
  10. Well here is some info……obviously no idea how accurate it is
  11. Thought this was interesting
