If the MLB and the MLBPA went to a party at the playboy mansion and arrived at the same time......they would spend hours arguing about who gets to go in first......

Garcia at first is a waste of an excellent outfielder. Yelich or Ozuna at first would be more likely. DH might also still be in the cards.
  9. markedman5
Yelich isn’t going to be traded.....’certainly not 1 year after signing a huge extension with a full no trade clause....after making it clear Milwaukee was where he wanted to be.

I'll take that over what we have currently at 3B. of course you would....it's not your 64 million dollars.

IIRC those comments from Mark were about adding players at the trading deadline......he liked to keep some money available so that if the Brewers were in Contention they had flexibility to add a piece or 2. He never said they would try to get top free agents .....he knows that in a bidding war he will run out of ammunition quickly against the big boys. He has to try and build a competitive roster while working within the constraints of the market.

Considering what I went through as a Brewer fan ...’when just having a .500 season was cause for celebration ..pardon me if I don’t think it’s been all that frustrating for the last 12 years or so.
